Had another go and implemented the OST DAC. On it’s own despite best efforts, has too much reverb. Not a deal breaker but until I get better at mixing and figure a way of sharpening recordings from an external source this is all I got. One of the most memorable themes imho in the Zelda series. It is just so beautiful & majestic. We all at some point or another (until we figured the trick out) got ‘lost’ in these woods. Created from scratch in GarageBand. Rights of course belong to Nintendo.

How did you find gameplay with blue eyes and smiling / laughing? I've never seen Doctor Robotnik smile / laugh in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, or with the blue glasses.

where'd you get the mega drive samples?
You get the samples from the VGZ file (do a Google search). You then import the file into Genny which is a program that emulates the Sega Genesis sound chip (YM2612).

@@HappyHeart35242 There are 3 presets or instruments in this particular channel. They are not named so idk what actual sound they are. I would say imo one is a distortion guitar and the lead replicates a bassoon that's very high pitched.

Hi Thanks for the feedback. This is just a preview of the song hence it being a YT short. The final version will have all the channel corrections. 99.8% in your opinion is good enough for me.

Good to hear more from you! Loved the brief underwatter effect, I think is good you did not let take over the entire song and did a good work to spice a little. I really love how you used the echo, almost feelt like panning and well balanced, it really pays the work from last piece (Boss) You were right, one of the best water level in a lot of games, also one of the most fun to watch on the scripted speed sections. Good to know you are still working on VGM and awesome collab too!

Freaking awesome Two gripes though, and they’re both about the drums. One, there’s a snare-drum part at the beginning. Two, wrong drum sounds
