    Please don’t assume anything. I got on here to find the flipin dip stick only to find out it’s behind the guard. Btw, does your hydrostat whine so loud you have to wear hearing protection?? I never would have bought this if I’d ever known. My John Deere ( lost in a fire ) , had zero hydrostat noise

    • @redfoxmanortractorsequipment
      @redfoxmanortractorsequipment 9 месяцев назад

      Not that this really matters but is it stuck in reverse or forward? I would look at all the springs and make sure they are where they are supposed to be. There is one where it goes from forward to reverse and make sure it's tight. if not you may need to replace that spring. There is a lever that transitions the forward and reverse too around the motor and see if it moves when you move the lever. If not you'll have to follow where it's disconnected or lose. I hope this helps.

    Hi, Thanks for posting. The floormat is a great tip. The LX2610 floormat is very similar to remove. If you have a 3rd function valve setup they cut the foam pad on the right side to run the wiring from the control lever to under the dash like the wiring which you have run under the mat on the left side. Great job and attention to detail. Dan 😊

    For the "K-Connect" snow blower mount, remove both while still connected. You only need to remove the two mount pins and hydraulic lines to place on "T" shaped dolly. Two non turning wheels under the blower and one rotating wheel under mount for steering.

    Why did you choose turf tires and not R14’s?

    • @redfoxmanortractorsequipment
      @redfoxmanortractorsequipment Год назад

      So the turf tires in my opinion get better traction in the snow and ice and they don't tear up my lawn or driveway. I rented a tractor with the R14s and I didn't care for the tires, they did tear up the dirt driveway when it was just a little damp and when I did some dirt work tore up the grass too.

I bought the same version before this weekend - 80,000 btu - but a different name brand - craftsman from lowes - it kept my garage at a toasty 50-60° all weekend in this frigid blast 9° outside - thats a 50 ° differential - i used diesel as kerosene here is 2$ more a gallon! My only SMALL complaint - the faint smell of diesel gets to my clothes and permeeates them. Maybe kerosene will smell better. Ill post a short of mine running on my channel

    I keep my tractor inside when not in use …not fond of the crappy paint kubota uses considering how expensive these tractors are ! I’ve been considering some sort of wax to help protect the paint from fading but in all reality it is a tractor that gets worked. I do wash it 3 or 4 times a year depending on how dirty it gets! I always maintain all my equipment but not always anal about keeping working equipment spotless .

    I’m looking for one just to heat up the garage when I’m working on the car or using the garage gym. Was there a big difference in fumes on kerosene vs diesel? Also, JP8 or “jet fuel” is on there so they can sell to government elements, like US Military, who will be authorized for “off the shelf purchase” and be running everything on JP8. It’s a kerosene based fuel. Same with JP5.

    • @redfoxmanortractorsequipment
      @redfoxmanortractorsequipment 2 года назад

      The Kerosene isn't nearly as strong a smell as the diesel and I didn't get a migraine with the Kerosene. After I ran it a few more times the "break in" smell dissipated and it smelled even less. Thanks for the info in the JP8😁. I did not know that.

    First thank you for this -- it's very helpful. I just finished my 50 hour maintenance. May I suggest a couple of tricks I tried that worked. 1. Tent aluminum foil over the wiring harness under the oil filter. It's tight, but it kept the oil off the harness and collected some in the foil. 2. I put a shop vac over the transmission fill hole, but offset a little. You don't want to suck out any tranmission fluid but you want some suction. When I removed the transmission filter I lost a little fluid, but it didn't gush. It sounded like slurping - someone sucking up the bottom of a drink with a straw. It pulled enough air up that the fluid couldn't stream out.

    To get that pressure to release, you can wrap a rag around the end, and jam it into the concrete quickly, assuming you can reach the concrete. With the rag over it, it won't damage anything, it's extremely quick, but be cautious of the fluid that will spray (the 2nd use of the rag). Be careful about pushing on those connectors as you described - fluid out = air in, which isn't good. Also - when I park my loader, I run all the hydraulic actuators all the way in. It'll take up less space AND protects your actuators from dust, dirt, debris, or potential damage while stored. Thanks for the video, happy tractoring!
