How to make Mozzarella cheese using a cheese kit - in your own kitchen. This demonstration uses a Cheese Monkey Artisan Cheese Making Kit.
I'm having real trouble with the front apex assembly. There's nothing to keep it together! The bottom panels fall out as there's nothing to secure them, and also the top of the apex doesn't seem to secure together. Been working on it about 5 hours. No hope for me!
You didn't use a sub base there and you didn't use a whacker plate. I would at least roll it with a heavy garden roller. Also, were you sitting on the slabs after you put them down on wet cement?? I mean I hope it worked out for you but I'd really like to see an update. Looks like this was posted four years ago.
Possibly a good video but to be honest as soon as you started converting measurements from our feet and inches into metric ie) hundreds of millimetres right at the start, I have stopped watching. Sorry but I think its such a shame when people feel they have to express everything in metric when actually they don't
Well done 👌 I’m laying a similar for a shed but using 20mm gravel first then grit sand mixed with a small amount of cement, laying it dry like you did and the paving slabs are dead heavy … I just needed to get the idea to get the slabs level. Good show, well done. ✅ 💙
Well it’s better than nothing i suppose lol 😂😂😂
Thanks for taking the time to post this it is a great help.
Too fast and missing detail
How to level a backyard ground
How to prepare ground floor slabs of stone
How to prepare the ground for stone
Bad old job that
Do you have a followup so we can see if there was any settling, cracking, etc.? Thanks.
i don't adhere to using too many cement products or sand etc, because insects cant live there then, you want gaps for spiders and all to be able to have somewhere to live. sterile is not how the world should be.
I'm thinking of doing the same so this was the perfect video for me - so glad I found it.
A good video instruction on one method to install large slab / paving stones. Regardless of your method, an invaluable low cost tool to consider for the project is called SLABSETTERS. Here is a link that describes the SlabSetters tool.... ruclips.net/video/tra84XS5L6U/видео.html
New to your channel I like 👍
Thank you for the video! I'am going to start building same one too right now and i'am sure this helped a lot!
Most helpful, Thank You! We just prepped the deck and surrounding fence and will, very soon, be assembling our Mythos. Fun Video, love it!! Thanx
Just bought this kit for my brother. Just needed to see how easy/difficult it is to make. Good video.
Well done! Lots of hard work! I'm doing the same myself at the moment.
Thanks for the videos. I'm glad you've had some success with the greenhouse so far. I've been persuaded to buy this same 6 x 6 greenhouse for my son. Now regretting it as I would not design anything as flimsy as this. For my base I've put four 1.8m sleepers in a level square and anchored them together and into the ground with metal brackets/stakes. Having built the greenhouse I'll now strengthen the poly panels after seeing all the problems people have had in the wind e.g. Home Grown Veg on RUclips.
11:29 Please tell us how you plan to make gin using the whey. Thanks.
Looks better than my effort! Gonna go with the sharp sand over what I have done cos it's such a pigs ear.
Yowza!! I am very impressed!! Great job!!
You should always use some form of sub base and. Compact each layer this looks good for what it's for well done
This is great how did you make it
Helpful
I just got this in the mail and the panels are PLASTIC. Looks really cheap.
What did you think polycarbonate was?
This is great!
Where's part 2?
It's here: ruclips.net/video/8WlIgeN1KZ4/видео.html
Thank you!!
Hi, this is great! I was just wondering about how you screwed it into the concrete. I know it comes with holes ready for you to do this but what kind of screw did you use to put it into the concrete and did you need a plug? Just wondering what I need to buy to do this myself now my greenhouse has arrived as I’ve never secured anything into concrete before! Thanks!
Love it!
Great vid! Just a question, would it be worth putting aggregate down before the sharp sand if it’s going to be a heavier structure like a shed + contents? Laying my first base and want to get it right 😎 ta!
Have you been happy with the size of this greenhouse, has it been big enough for your requirements? I looking at replacing my current larger poorer quality greenhouse with this one.
Thank you for sharing .I’ve just come from your slab laying video and then to this and I laughed …I’m sorry..at the previous green house blowing away..I laughed because I got mine yesterday and a friend I sent picture of it in advertisement as I’ve not put it up yet said her daughter had one and to watch out when windy.. 🤪 we all know how unpredictable our British weather is lol . I had ordered it because I’ve been unable to get a proper green house as all sold out for ages so I ordered the plastic one and all sorts of gardening tools and also stones to do drainage Etc and while waiting for it to be delivered yesterday the greenhouse I wanted had one available and I quickly ordered it so now my son and I have two to put up. The plastic one will be shielded by the wind a little though .I’m grateful to see you all building it..it’s encouraging. Thank you. I’ve 👍🏻🔔 and look forward to watching your other videos. Edit..oh just looked at your videos and I could only find 5 .. from 2 years ago ..I do hope you plan to make more I’d be interested in how you grow..esp veggies if you do as I’m new to it all .
no felt or vinyl covering to keep the weeds out?.....I like your design.
I'm assuming when mixing the sand&cement you use water? Or do you not? And if so, how much for both laying slabs and pointing the gaps
Did you anchor it to the foundation? Would be afraid it could be taken by wind.
Yes, there are holes pre-drilled into the base of the frame, so I drilled through these to create holes in the paving slabs and then used screws to secure it on to my paving slabs. Hope this helps.
@@byjoveshesdoneit7590 I have made an easy ring from brick blocks, bolted impregnated 2x4s and fixed greenhouse to these.
Great job ! What size screws did you use to drill base into paving? Also are the holes Pre made in the base frame? Thanks
Hi. Yes there are holes already in the base of the greenhouse for you to place screws into. I can't remember what size screws I used - I just experimented with ones that I already had. If you use ones that measure about half the depth of your paving slabs then you should be OK, I think. Happy gardening!
I had same problem, I bought a hoop house, working on the base now, how did you secure frame to blocks? Did you use drill and screws or other type anchor.

Impressive job, and coming from Canada I would like to say I really like your channel name....very aptly named..
I bought the exact same model but cannot get all the side panels to fit the frame! The width between parts 993 on either side is at least 2" narrower than the panels. I almost cut the panels in a rage to get them to fit lol. Any advice is completely appreciated, By Jove :).
Hi. Did you sort this problem out? I didn't have this issue so I'm wondering if the panels were the wrong size.
Brilliant vid ive just ordered myself a kit what other cheese have you made so far
Why can't people just make a normal video
is that why you haven't uploaded a single one?
You all did a wonderful job and showed tremendous teamwork. Bravo!
Love the video going to do mine as soon as good weather comes, Ps what do you use to edit your videos 😊👍
Well done, Jo! Does it have sound? Not sure if my phone isn't playing up!!
Thanks Ian. Glad you liked it. No there’s no sound to it. I debated about adding sound but once I’d completed the animation, I just wanted to get it online. And then of course there was the prospect of people focusing on the soundtrack when the huge chunk of work was the animation!
How not to lay a bace. It should have been dug out to 150mm below paving height a lest 75mm of mot in . Then string lines squared with each one. A wet sand a cement of 6 to 1. Lay in lines with string like tram lines. This way there will be know lips or rocking on each slabs.
Now you have let everyone know how good you are, let's get back to reality and understand she admits its not a pro job and its only to put a green house on.
Maybe practice your spelling mate rather than troll people who put up genuinely helpful videos? Have you never heard of spellcheck?
Not a professional standard but that’s defo good enough. Well done for doing it yourself 💪🏽🙌🏽
my experience of "professionals" is that they turn up late, often days late- and expect you to be thankful they have even deigned to grace you with their presence. They do a substandard job, make a mess then hand you a bill big enough to collapse the economy of a small country. I do everything myself- it takes longer but the peace of mind knowing it's been done properly and no corners have been cut is worth it.
