Loads of rubbish for sale at high prices with unscrupulous dealers.
The answer, very hard. There are several reason for this in my opinion.
1. When private people place an Ad online the deals call them immediately they post
and knock the seller down before the seller has a chance to have another offer.
Then inflates the price on re-sale.
2. Dealer are encouraged to scrap cars or they were.
3. As prices increase people are opting to keep the old car that has served them well
like myself so less for sale.
Suggestions:
When you place your car on a website such as Autoscout24 you will immediately get...

Nice review, I like it.
I've got an 02, 3.2 liter, six speed, 986 Porsche Boxster S with Fabspeed exhaust,, CAI, catless headers, IPD Plenum/TB, Numeric shifter, Bilstein performance shocks, H&R lowering springs etc... I personally like the sleek 986 headlights; course I've got "aftermarket" clear lens lights. Even so, they are the same headlights as on the Porsche 911 GT1; one of the best looking race cars ever, and as the years went on, most Porsche models actually move towards that oval shape like on the 986 vs the more "round" minus the 911 models. I also like the "originality" of the 986... that said, they're both fantastic pure, true sports cars that are timeless!
Don't misunderstand me please, I love all the Boxsters (986 and above) and think they have fantastic road handling and feedback. When there is a well looked after 986 I would also seriously consider buying one. New lights make a big difference even if they are original ones as the crips clean lenses give the vehicle a massive uplift. I just prefer the 987 headlights a bit more but completely love the cars as a whole.
@richarddrinkwater9904 I get it! No misunderstanding here. I just like the sleek design of the original headlights; they've aged well in my oppinon. Plus my "aftermarket" headlights are even cleaner than the updated clear lens 986 lights from the factory. (Need to do a walk around one day). The Boxster has been an awesome drivers car platform from the beginning and remains so today!
Good 😄😄🤪🤪
Nice video. Looong term 987.1 S owner here. My comments: - If you mirror the double flash on locking by clicking your tongue (or fingers) when you _look_ and see the double flash, then you can be sure you've locked it. - I've not had a problem with the seats on long journeys (>2 hours), but of course, bodies do vary. - You can retrofit the official cruise control, either OPC or a reputable independent specialist will be able to do that. - The 20k (or 2 years) service interval is better than peers, but yes, don't expect this to be as cheap to run as a Honda. - The _smiles per mile_ is very high with the 987 :) Given the outlay vs the fun, it's great value and does not disappoint. - (You've done this) Practice how to open the front boot with a flat battery - before you need to. - Press the top/bottom flats of the aircon buttons rather than the (obvious and ergonomic) middle lump to avoid wear (yep, mine were getting sticky & skanky and got replaced. It's a poor design) - Drive often. It likes it. - Winter tyres are a great open if you get snow & ice, or do muddy campsites in summer e.g. Pirelli Sottozero or Michelin Alpin. The Michelin Cross Climate 2s might be a good halfway house. - There's a debate about letting the car warm up, but waiting to drive for a minute or two until the revs drop under 1k has served me well (clean bore check at 80k miles) EDIT: It's worth looking at 911 Design (et al) for mesh grilles to prevent debris getting into the front and side intakes. Wish I'd done this a long time ago. Personally, I prefer the Zunsport one, it looks like a better implementation than the cheaper options.
The biggest thing about my car that shocked the hell out of me…987.2.. was the window trim piece about a foot-long that cost over $2000 Canadian… $2000 for a piece of plastic and rubber…
Really? I bought the EU headlights from Porsche and they only cost around 1000€ plus vat. Which part was it specifically? Did you buy it from Porsche Directly?
Also to note when I looked on eBay the headlights were just as expensive for second hand headlights as for new ones from Porsche, that's why I am asking.
@@richarddrinkwater9904 You can only get the trim piece from Porsche . There’s no aftermarket for that piece . B pillar gasket … It’s $1400 US … it’s absolutely ridiculous
NICE VIDEO! I've got a 2005 Boxster S. It surprises me how many people don't know the lock trick. There is only 1 button because the car will lock itself. Press the button a number of times, then wait one minute. If the door has not opened, within that minute, the car will either remain locked or lock itself if was in unlock mode. Never seen this on another car. Another funny feature is if a/c is on, it also vents into glove box to keep it cool in there.
Thanks. I noticed the car will lock if I unlock and do not touch the car. I guess this is what you are referring to? The only disadvantage with this is there is a short period of time the car would be open while you walk away. I would prefer to know I locked the car now. Thanks for raising the feature and to help us all understand how to use the features of this great car. I must also say this car is very well made. I was surprised by the stability of the car and the quality feel generally. The car doesn't feel very solid and not like a cheap sports car. Better than any other car I have driven.
Nice Job covering everything....easy to follow and just buy it for what it is, not so much what it is not. Thanks
Thanks Steve. I try but go on too much sometimes. Thanks for the feedback. Richard
Hi it looks breathing and vision of loveness too lots of people there nice vacations for you all ivy and dad have lots if walks together too hugs lo7is Elizabeth Culligan Boca Raton Florida USA june 26 th Wednesday night 🌉🌃
Lovely presentation of a typical south beach.
Unspoiled very scenic beautiful place to live
Very nice.
I remember this garden exactly as you showed.
Wonderful informative video, guess I live 100 miles from Salcombe and have never visited only passed through. Like the music that accompanies the video.
Full of yuppies 🛑
Can not say as not been there long enough. Any other suggestion of places to visit as we will be going back asap. Thanks
Another nice one! Didn't know there were raccoons over here.
全然、知らなかったのに知らせてくれるなんて世の中には不思議な事があるのですね??
こちらも綺麗な所ですね。Teston,kent,Englandには知人がいるので安心なので、そちらの方がいいわ(笑)
Don’t tell everyone about Salcombe it get to busy in the summer time
To late for that stay clear of the place in the summer!!!
Nice video Richard!
Thanks Sjaak
Cool 👍 looking at the camera was funny
Thanks Annabella.
I live close by here. It’s a really lovely place.
Nicely filmed, did you use a camera support when walking....if so which type?
I like how they suss you out. Great music!
Thanks I feel hypnotised by it.
Nice one Richard! Enjoyed it. (it's me ... Sjaak)
Cool thanks
looks like a fox hybrid cub x
Yes could be. There 2 cubs and the trail cams might of only caught the red but let’s see I still have them in the forest.
Thank you for showing us around. I would have liked natural sounds when walking on quiet roads, the countryside and on the beaches. ⛱. I love birdsong.
You're welcome. Thanks for the constructive suggestion of more natural sounds. I will try and add some in the next video. Richard
It is also possible I watched two young cups growing up and also witnessed the summer and winter fur change. All the videos come from the whole year.
🤪 ≋p≋r≋o≋m≋o≋s≋m
Looks absolutely stunning
Thanks it was so relaxing. Great walk to Garage Rock and rented a boat to explore the harbour.
Looks so cool!
Yes well worth a visit. 2nd half of the video is better might reduce the the length :)
buy a gyro , stick onto your edf and it will fly like a trainer
HI Yes I did after this disaster :) Check out this vide of an EDF F35 with Gyro :) ruclips.net/video/2jtX-2EJrwQ/видео.html
Flying rc models is something you don't want to learn by yourself (unless you want to waste a lot of $$$) find a club or an instructor, use a trainer model (high wing and nose landing gear). Good luck.
Having said that, I taught myself to fly without a simulator. Bought a superEZ, watched a heap of youtube videos, took off successfully, landed successfully and became addicted. That plane cost me $180. Not a fortune of broken planes. That's just my experience, though. Id never advise anyone to learn on a jet. There is too much going on for a new pilot to grapple with. Low lift, high speeds, more squirrely, require long runway OR very good hand throwing ability and good reflexes. Just a terrible set of things to go wrong for a newbie.
Yes I agree :) another case of my eyes are bigger than my belly as we say. I did fly a 2 meter glider for a while with FPV gear on it which was cool. Stayed up longer than I could physically manage it. Hours. Check this short video out of my F35 mini with Gyro. ruclips.net/video/2jtX-2EJrwQ/видео.html
Dont be discouraged, Get a eflite timber , fun and a whole lot easier to start with
Looks like my FT PunJet. Peter made flying it look easy. Mine corkscrewed into the ground every time. I took it to Flite Fest and had some experienced people fly it, and they kept it up in the air for 12-15 seconds. Steep learning curve.
Thanks for your comment. I did get a F35 mini after that which was cool to fly. ruclips.net/video/2jtX-2EJrwQ/видео.html
Really...stupid waste of money
I learned to fly on my own so made some mistakes. Did manage to fly a F35 mini with gyros and learned on that. Plus flow many months on a 2 meter glider. ruclips.net/video/2jtX-2EJrwQ/видео.html
Are you purposely fucking with this thing to cause it to break?
I know I didn't have any idea as never fly a plane before however learned my mistake after this. ruclips.net/video/2jtX-2EJrwQ/видео.html
Awesome performance! Would you recommend this model? Thanks,
Claudio Mueckay yes great price and flys nice with the flight controller included. Just make sure you have space and spare batteries. I bought the F35 from Banana Hobbies
Thank you @@richarddrinkwater9904 for replying. It looks to be a durable model. I will follow your tips. Thanks
Things always goes not right (wrong) @ the 1st time... nothing wrong with that.. keep trying. 👌👌
ruclips.net/video/2jtX-2EJrwQ/видео.html
You idiot. Maybe you didn't do your damn research on dual rates and expo. I would say go to DR and Expo menu in your transmitter and set aileron expo to 50%. Then go to Servo Setup in your transmitter and set aileron travel to 70% for left and right. That should be pretty docile for you.
After my first day of flying the "F-32" Lightning? I thought in your title it said F-35? 1:33 XD
Please don't be like him. No matter how much time you put into the simulator. It dose not mean that you can get a edf jet. Always start with a slow flying beginner plane there are lots of good ones out there.
Aaron Osorio some ppl just got it tho and some don’t. I’m 2 months in went from helis to a timber 1.2 and then a viper edf and then a p51 mustang and then a f15 eagle all eflite of course and yes I do use safe for landing and take offs and turn it off once in the air and I spend many hours on RF9 simulator and it’s helped a lot. I’ve done good. But no don’t start with a edf is correct.
Update on the Huge rat in Neuss close to Dusseldorf. It looks like it a variety from South America called the Coypu in Spanish and Nutria in North America. It has been used for its fur over the years and now seems to be making a comeback in Neuss. We saw a pair of them and could be a breeding pair and can have up to 13 young. They are disruptive and damage plants around the waterline. In Florida they pay 5$ per tale by the government to stop the damage of the everglades. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coypu
Nutria!
So far, I thougth I was the only one with maiden flight lasting less than 1 second... Cheers Mate! :D
OMG THIS IS ME with my first edf jet blue angels hahahaha kud almost cry lol :P but i feel your paine man
Please, please balance your props and tune your PID's, the video looks like jumpy rollercoaster. It can look much more better with just a little time spent on some minor adjustments.
