    This spot is also famous mainly because of the documentary and his dad. Son talks too much and caters too much to foreigners. Taking video too should be a huge no no.

  • @jaychu3850
    @jaychu3850 3 дня назад

    Utter nonsense. Japan is filled with high quality sushi at much affordable prices. It’s not like the US. What you are paying for in Tokyo for supposed high end sushi is where the sushi chef trained and in this case by his dad. Sushi omakase prices in Japan are based much more so on the pedigree of the chef….doesn’t equate to the best sushi.

    Careful on the hangboard. If you are new to climbing it is a great way to introduce your worst nightmare... a finger injury. So most people just recommend just climbing a lot for at least a year or maybe 6 months, so your tendons are more accustomed to that kind of weight. Or just be very careful doing no hangs instead of full body weight hangs. Good luck!

    • @ajsimmons
      @ajsimmons 7 дней назад

      Thank you for that. I didn’t realize it’s more of the tendons that are at risk. I will keep this in mind and ease my hands into climbing more.

    I’m 40 and recently took climbing back up (2-3 years in my teens). Haven’t regretted a moment. Just have to be more aware of recovery time with age 😊. Also grip strength is heavily dependant on tendons within the hand. And they don’t “degrade” the same way muscles do. Keep at it and you’ll be fine

    Really great progression. Just a quick note, learn to climb down every route. No need to hop off and learn to be i control even when you cant make the top. Will save your knees and ankles and prevent injuries.

    Very nice progress. I've been bouldering for a couple of years. I'll climb till I die. Anyway, if your gym has a workout area or finger-boarding area, you can still at least go there and work on your finger strength until you can get back on the wall. I broke my leg three weeks into climbing, and it was quite depressing. I never even thought to go there to work on finger strength and at least be in the environment. Just sprained my ankle about a week ago and was off the wall for about 5 days, and that's exactly what I did. Just focused on climbing-specific workouts (weighted pull-ups, curls, core, etc.) and finger strength. Made not being able to climb a lot more bearable.

    • @ajsimmons
      @ajsimmons 9 дней назад

      I never thought to go in there to be on the finger board that’s a great idea! My worst fear is to break a bone I was going crazy just with my sprain. Glad to know you still love bouldering after.

    Bit of a fact about Hungry Jacks It actually was called Burger King but there was a small Burger shop called Burger King before the company came to Australia So due to the Australian Copyright laws they had to change the name So we technically have Burger King, it’s just a change in name but is owned by Burger King

    Thanks for the video, but I have to disagree as an American living in Sydney for a few years now... GYG is more Tex Mex than authentic Mexican food. It's much better than Taco Bell (which is here in Australia now and not really the same as in the US). The best fast food in Sydney is definitely 5 Guys. It's just like in the states except no peanuts! I was so happy when one opened here, though. Also, we are supposed to be getting Wendy's, so I'd like to see how different it will be.

    Not at all. I started climbing at 38 and can do a few v8s. I've got weight to lose too so there's room for improvement. Recovery time is longer than a youngster I guess but keep climbing to enjoy it and you'll improve all the time. Don't get down on sessions trying to get that difficult one for too long.
