I did not get the maker slayer when buying the DLC

I literally beat both Reclaimed Earth (twice) and Immora on Nightmare with all escalation events and collecting all codex pages, and I got nothing. Any idea why? Is this shitty game still this glitchy almost 3 years after release or am I doing something wrong?

I feel like the Cultist Slayer is just a dead praetorian/general for the Khan Makyr so they gave him a proper burial but they took his armor and placed it in a memorial. They wanted to make the coffin look nice so they infused it with Argent energy. When the dead praetorian woke up in hell, he made a deal with the seven princes of hell to return him to life but he will serve the demons. He agreed and then when he was brought back to life the argent energy horribly disfigured his corpse, the guards found him like this and put wires in his body to keep him alive. After that, he betrayed the demons, took his armor and after realizing that when he was sent into hell, the demons never attacked him. So he stayed behind and fought the ones that weren't paying attention while pretending to fight the sentinels. The priests tricked them and locked them all in hell. Only the new general and the dead general stood as the sentinels fell one by one, they took their seperate ways and eventually, the man took on the Name The Cultist Slayer, reminding everyone that he was out to kill the three priests who tricked them. When the demons found out they took his powers away and tried to kill the Slayer, but the general told the Slayer of a place where he could be given power again. The Khan Makyr has desposed of her ultimate weapon in Hell, so the Slayer and the general sneak there and the general activates it. Giving slayer the powers we know today.

I can tell you didn't mean to fire that BFG in the beginning. I suffered from that too, that's why I have the Unmakyr selected in it's place instead so that I don't do that again.

Best thing I did that helped me was practice on nightmare being able to go back to checkpoints and practicing hard parts until I could do them each time. Then I done ultra nightmare first time after practicing.

So dissecting this, being a fellow ps player i need to 1. Get a better mastery of the yeet hook 2. Use jump more when dodging and dont just spam dash Im struggling with weapon switching a little, I much prefer having low weapon wheel delay for switching between weapons quickly but when im only cycling between the two current (like when doing ssg/ballista on marauder) it wont quick switch between the two it brings up the wheel and i end up bringing up totally different weapons since im moving all the time Also it absolutely infuriates me the meathook not locking on when i need it most 🤬

How were you able to use an alternate fire for the BFG?? I've been trying to figure that out for a minute now, with no luck. Awesome gameplay btw 🤙

Did pretty well through everything but gave up at the doom hunter and the 2 tyrants. Just too much heat in such a small space don't know if Im ready for that. Pretty much die immediately.

For me it's the best skin of the slayer ! Verry badass
