This robot head is an old project of mine. I built it few years ago and used it on few events, but most of this time it spent in its box. It is not cardboard this time but lasercut plywood as I was a showcase of LOFI Robot CODEBOX kit. I reminded myself about it few days ago and thought it would be a nice example for the face tracking app, and an occasion to work on the Arduino version of the a...

can i ask the specification of the bolt and nut? thank you
M3 length 12mm
Sir can you pls suggest me what can i use instead of servo motors i need your help a lot How can i use here dc motor?
Hey, i think there is like a million other arduino cars with yellow dc motors on youtube so i would search for something elese.
Whats the code pls?
plsss teach me the microbit command
Check the website
Hi! I was wondering what supplies do you need for this. Like what is the name of the wire that commands the rabbit?
All materials are in the description. I don know what you mean by wire? Robot is controlled by bbc micro:bit.
ruclips.net/video/TwuJnC3Ka9Y/видео.htmlfeature=shared
It helped me in my school project a lot
:-)
You are literally the best❤❤❤
Gracias😌🥰 con mucho amor estudiantes colaboran elaborando con juguetes y vestidos para niños de aldeas y caseríos. Y son felices al dárselos.!
En realidad son muy creativos!😊
Can i ask for the size of the bolt and nut that you use? Thank you
Hey Julius. I use M3 Nuts and bolts with mainly 12mm bolts with cylinder head
love your idea
please make it for arduino.
I did, check the website
Hi cool tutorial! Can I use the BBC micro:bit v2.21?
Yes
hi respect your hard work, but the Code is not workin even i downloaded on my computer couldnt find the file . hmmmmm
Thx Mate. It must be simething in your computer. I am pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the code
@ thanks very much!
Thank you for giving the link.
Hello Maciej, the price that is shown under your link is $13,19 but in the cart it is € 26,39. Why that difference?
Hey, there was a bug in price geolocation plugin on the website. Thank you for pointing this out! Please email me for a discount code if you are interested in the getting it in this lower price.
Greats designs, thanks❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Zdecydowanie polecam!
cool project
The same code is written, but when using the Bluetooth extension, the code doesn't upload to the Micro . However, when using your extension, the code uploads easily. Why?
Yoy mean that you can upload my hex file but cannot upload code from makecode?
@CARDBOARD_ROBOTS written a same but using a another Bluetooth extension
Other bluetooth extension in MakeCode? I dont know any..
@@CARDBOARD_ROBOTS ok but using your extension working fine and code upload easy
1:09 which app are you using for controlling the dog
Hey, all info is in the project page
These never fail to impress me, lovely job🫶🏻
Hello from the Caribbean, appreciate this much !
Hey there!
Cool! Micro:Bits are so fun, this is a good project for them! I like the little face!
Thank you! Cheers!
This app is incredible! Thank you very much! So useful as a presentation to show all the possibilities of the Microbit. Is there any way to get the code? Is there any GitHub repo? I would like to translate it to my language. Thanks in advance!!
That's great, congratulations. Could you share the code?
Hey Gab. I updated project page with basic code. cardboard.lofirobot.com/led-puppet/
Nice!!❤
😊😊😊🤩🤩 🤖
Can I use a IObit v2.0 extension?
Yep, if it you can connect 3 micro servos to it. Some chassis dimensions adjustments might be needed as well.
When can we expect this series?
I actually have it almost ready, with three robot types. Even the videos are recorded BUT I am not releasing it because I want to put out one other thing first - a new mini app with Teachable Machine to Micro:bit interface - i use it in this project to detect color of ping pong balls.... so I dont know quite when...
Loved it and will definitely use it in my classroom!!!😍😍 *Greece
Magiczne i niesamowite! A przy tym w zasięgu ręki, niemal bezpłatnie!
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Fun!
Great project! Do you think you could send the code so I can control the robot with another micro bit via radio? Thanks!
Look at this video ruclips.net/video/XbQz_ME1SbI/видео.html

force mon gars c trop cool
Where is dog code?
Arduino here: cardboard.lofirobot.com/robot-dog-v2/
Micro:bit here: cardboard.lofirobot.com/walking-robot-dog/
good morning it's me again jakja, was pa another question, is that I have a servomotor of the blue of 180 ° a SG90 IS A Microservo by what tells me the label, if done with this type, I will have inconvenience to the performance or efficiency of this same?
It depends how do you connectit. If you want to draw rhe oower from the microbit, then it will work but only ine servo and it will be very weak. If you have some adapter then it provides the power for rhe servis and they should work fine as long as they are compatible with 3.3v signal
@@CARDBOARD_ROBOTS For my part I want to provide power through the breadboard with a 9 volt battery but I don't know if I need a resistor or something else to make it work, and if so what kind of resistor I would have to use.
In general, when you power a motor you do not limit it with a resistor. But 9v is a bit too much for a micro servo, most of them operate at 6v max
Also be careful with 9v around the micro:bit you might fry the io pins when you mess something on the breadboard
I would better go with 3 or 4 AA or AAA batteries
good evening how are you, I wanted to make a small query, this can be done with breadboard? and there connect the microbit, sorry for the inconvenience
Hey, if you do breadboarding maybe check Arduino version of this robot: ruclips.net/video/wF3MR8pRAGo/видео.html
But yes,if you have breadboard adapter for the micro:bit it will do as well. As long as you will know how to connect the servos an power them.
@@CARDBOARD_ROBOTS Thank you very much, I will take this into account, although I would have to see some tutorials on the protoboard, thank you very much
What motor are you using
It is 360 degrees micro servo motor, it has to be 3,3V compatible
@@CARDBOARD_ROBOTS ok thanks
how do you program the micro servo? mine doesn't move
There are two type of servos 180deg and 360deg. You need the latter one. Also most of 180deg servos are 3.3v compatible and work with microbit but a lot of 360deh serovs is not 3.3v compatible and will not react to mb signals (even if tou power the servo with 5v, the signal line from mb is 3,3v)
If possible, please consider including interactive functions in your apps. In other words, the micro:bit should be able to send back data to the device. Thanks!
Hey! Interesting concept. Please write some example use cases??
@@CARDBOARD_ROBOTS Micro.bit itself has some sensor, we can use those sensors to feedback environment data.
This i understand. But to design interface for this data it would be good to start with some use cases what we want to do with them. Maybe you have some idea for a project, if i know it then it is easier to incoroporate it into the app
I mean there are several options to do is. Rhat is why i ask questions why do you need it?
@@CARDBOARD_ROBOTS I don't know what I want but I just want to share with you my code. async function receiveUART() { try { // Start notifications for the RX characteristic to receive data await rxCharacteristic.startNotifications(); console.log("Listening for incoming data..."); // Add an event listener to handle incoming data rxCharacteristic.addEventListener("characteristicvaluechanged", onRxCharacteristicValueChanged); } catch (error) { console.error('Error starting notifications:', error); } } function onRxCharacteristicValueChanged(event) { let receivedData = []; for (var i = 0; i < event.target.value.byteLength; i++) { receivedData[i] = event.target.value.getUint8(i); } const receivedString = String.fromCharCode.apply(null, receivedData); console.log("Received:", receivedString); }
voy a bailar el rengo
