I do think the movies are directed and done better, but the show is decent & honeslty pretty entertaining. It's just getting a lot of hate from the cancel culture crowd mostly for not being canonical to the books. No adaptation from books to tv show/movies have ever not changed a ton of things about the story, not sure why the nerds are making such a big deal about it with this show.

Where is the budget going to? Comparing this to Helm’s Deep is disgraceful. Heck, even the battles in The Hobbit trilogy were better. This is a combination of Amazon’s weird overdone CGI along with the bs writing from the last couple Seasons of GOT.
