Haha. Thinking back almost 12 years ago when I start doing portrait photography and collab with models. I m glad that I didn't do any of the mentions above. To organize a successful shoot is hard. If you want to have good looking photos. Its better to have a makeup artist, a wardrobe stylist, a hair stylist. If there has a lighting assistant that will be even better. To pick a date that works for everyone is damn hard. Crossing the fingers that they will show up is even harder. Shooting in a studio space is easier than on locaiton. I don't know other photographer but for me. I got so much pressure to make sure everything works out like the lighting setup is correct, the location picking is correct, the interaction with the model is in a good vibe. Any of these fails will be wasting everyone 's time. If anything goes unsure, everyone will be looking at the photographer for answers. So in a way the photographer is actually the director. There has no time and room to flirt with the models. All I care is how to get "the" shot of the day. Usually I'd just aim for getting 1 good shot. @angus woo since when you became a model. Want to collab? lol

I have seen multiple example of a parent change after they retired. Or they finally realize that they don't know(interlect) as much as their children. It depends on person to person. Usually the switching point is that when they are starting to realize their way of thinking don't fit today's culture anymore and willing to catch up.

Yap, only friends of the opposite sex never exist. I knew Angus once told me that he has some of those opposite sex pure friends. Well, that come to a korean term of seeing the person as a "guy/lady". I'd assume if you don't see the other sex friend as what they are then the pure friendship is possible but if it is not then I doubt there has pure friendship between 2 sex. I mean if a guy seeing the female friend as bros then for sure there could be true only friendship there.

I'd say , start the move as soon as you have a feeling on the person. Don't need to pop the question but at least start to flirt a bit. Flirting shows that you want to jump out from the friend zone. But for sure you got to pay attention how is the recipient reaction to the flirt. If there has a good interaction of the flirting action then you know you are on the right track.

Commitment takes a minute while people wait for the tied down red flags to pop up. Excitement, mutual interest, and emphasis on best qualities are surface level things everyone needs to peep past.
