I love this fast pace vasto lorde ichigo vs ulquiorra fight. Its like kakashi vs obito, it was done beautifully.

I really love this version of the Ulquiorra fight because it was less one sided with Ulquiorra constantly getting his ass whooped and actually standing up a bit instead.

Coming back to this after years and man...That perfect slice with the crescent moon ( which personifies the meaning of zangestu ) 1:02 is still one of my favorite clips in all animation.

So far, the TYBW battles are very short, I was hoping they would extend the fight scenes. I've reread the manga and thinking, well, we probably will not get something like this Hell Verse intro level of animation, this intense, epic, thrilling. But who knows, I might be way too quick to judge, maybe they will put more on the great parts of the story. The TYBW visual is good looking though, I also likes the cloudy weather colour tones. I'm still super happy that Bleach is back.

I can see why Kubo-san said that this was the most accurate version of their fight. Though Zangetsu is dominating, it doesn't undermine Ulquiorra's power boost in his Resurrecion: Segunda Etapa state. As such, the two appear evenly matched though the one who's leading the fight is more obvious. The magnitude of their bout is also well-made. Right now, you have two absurdly powerful beings duking it out in a free-for-all grudge match to the death. It's brutal, it's fast, and it's feral. And to me, I feel like the selling point is the fact that they switched Zangetsu's and Ulquiorra's roles in terms of vocal presence. Like, has anyone noticed that in the Anime version of this fight, it's Ulquiorra who instigates the talking? Nowadays, that felt... Weird to me, that for someone as composed and reserved as he is would be blabbering on and on in a fight. As such, changing the roles to having only Zangetsu's roars and growls prevalent throughout the fight makes a lot more sense. Selling to the fact that this is a *monster* fighting, not just a *warrior.* And lastly, what I want to point out is the brilliant OST by Shiro Sagisu-san. "Incantation" (that's the name of this Soundtrack) works so well in this fight, as its build-ups and choruses made for an amazing orchestral display for this fight. All in all, though this movie is very much hated amongst the community, there is no doubt that this fight is by far one of the most perfect definition of Bleach as a whole.

Kubo said that ulquiorra and vasto lorde ichigo were supposed to be around the same level with ichigo having the slight edge but he didn’t have time and was falling ill, so the fight had to be cut short.

I have seen new animation fight scenes of current anime and continuing anime, and have come back here having the thought in my head that animation has finally managed to surpass this short snippet that was given to us in Tite Kubo’s “Bleach Movie: Hell Verse.” years back. *I have come back to realize that I was gravely mistaken.*

A full on bloody civil war here would also risk starting one elsewhere, and tearing civilization apart Holding back from all excesses of the three chimera forms or fate masks, allows use of all three powers fully, with the heart and full conscience of a clear Sovereign Mind. On their own, each fate would only benefit the individual, leaving others behind and damning them to The Hellverse timeline that was already avoided by the Chimera's Divine Trinity of Masks / Fates

Why was Kubo rushed to get past this in the manga? This was like the pinnacle of Bleach. People read/watch Shōnen manga/anime for fights so what dumbass was like “naw man you gotta skip through this fights here to get to the other fights” that’s fucking moronic. Even today anybody who talks about Bleach talks about Ichigo vs Ulquiorra before they mention anything else even Ichigo vs Grimmjow which is a close second. Nobody talks about Ichigo vs Aizen.

When VL ichigo and Ulqiuorra clash in the very first opening sequence, that scared the shit out of me, and made me jump

Hands down, VL Ichigo absolutely manhandles ulquiorra, but I could see Ulqiuorra Being Able to put up a fight, albeit not very much of one. HAHAHA!!! P.S. in the end, Ulquiorra gets assfucked and obliterated anyway.

Kinda mad I didn't see this movie now. Should they reanimate Bleach?
