Not from where the footage was taken, it was shot on the west side of the beach outside of the flight exclusion zone

@@oldgitsurbex9195 cheers mate , was thinking of going that way on the weekend. Was looking at drone assist and the flight restrictions for airport are right where the cafe is. And then down toward porthcawl there's quite a few restrictions along the coastline.

Saying the Upper 4ft was called the 2 feet 9 inches which was an extremely High Quality Coal, Coal that powered not only the British Navy but also the Cunard White Star line including the Titanic. the House also combined the Compressors for Compressed air, this Type of Building was on other PD Collieries in South Wales, most notably Ynysmaerdy Colliery at Llantrisant which was deeper than Penallta, the Pit head Gear Houses still stand opposite the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Colliery was closed after a Explosion in 1941.

No , it goes down into a large holding tank, not sure how deep the water is though, I didn’t fancy finding out :-)

When you got through entrance tunnel you have the building just to left, go down the left hand side of that and make your way through a pretty overgrown route around 100 meters you come to the back of the Fort 👍

You’ve got to get back up there if you can, beware of the old fella driving round tho, but still doesn’t stop people getting in

the whole place has a 'sinisterness' about it, I've been there a couple of times and theres just an atmosphere and a real sadness permeating from it.

its crazy, theres just soo many houses that are left to decay in their own solitary abandonment, just sad to see that all the bloody sweat and tears of running and maintaining a farm is now just a faded memory. Glad you liked it Phil, will try and find more to film.
