Well people, the 747 has been always my favorite passenger jet, I flew in one from Frankfurt, Germany to Puerto Rico non stop and let me tell you it was a great smooth ride all the way, the 747 - 8 is even more beautiful, and can't wait to ride in one.

para moises: al avianca obtener sus 15 787 el a330 sera cambiado a ser parte de la flota de avianca cargo es decir, los a330 pasaran a ser de pasajeros a ser de carga y asi eliminiaran los 767 que estan en este momento formando parte de la flota avianca cargo. Espero que te aya quedado claro.

Are there other applications for this engine beside the 748? The latest jumbo doesn't look to be a best seller.

Actually the BA 777 was due to a heat exchanger that Rolls Royce did not design properly. The QF A380 was due to an incorrectly manufactured oil feed stub pipe. Both Rolls Royce issues. Look it up. Rolls generally makes good engines but the way they handled the Qantas incident turned me off of their engines.

A380 was due to a broken oilpipe. B777 was Ice Crystals in fuel = not R&R's fault. The A380 that failed was a 1:1000000 scenario.
