Just a couple of clips I took from the march down South Street. 263 cities in the world participated in this march to end the prohibition of marijuana this year.

    Lt Dan recovered and kept leading and helping and protecting his soldier Forrest as time went on. "He got me involved with some fruit company, and we don't gotta worry about money no more..." Thanks LT Dan for leading.

    Lt. Dan saved himself. It was his "fault" that forrest saved him on the battlefield. He was Forests Hero, role model. Forest just couldn't resist to save him and others at any cost. No one would let his idol die. And I would do the same for my heroes aswell, like some officiers I've had the honor to serve.

    Being a Vietnam Vet, I know the the story, don't do anything stupid, Most of all, I didn't need anyone to tell me in how I might get killed while in Country. Truth of the matter is, But for the grace of GOD Go I. you could say went I. The Blood of Jesus, The Lamb of GOD, saved my soul. Mercy and Grace. Truth is, I was just an other number, But for the grace of GOD, I would had gone the way. I was often in some one cross hairs, and by the grace of GOD, some how it was fouled up that was intended to take me out all together. They did tag me but good, Once more, a Miracle of Miracles, I survived the event. A miracle of GOD, many of us survived the many Campaigns..... Key to being an overcomer, is making peace with GOD. That being all men by the nature of our being, we are sinners. Jesus is the way, The truth, and the life. Jesus is Lord. man needs to repent, and turn from his ways, and learn the way of GOD. amen

    When I saw 'Lt. Dan' swing his legs around to go into the water, I actually wondered if Gary Sinise was missing his lower legs! That was superb special effects! 😍😍 Later watching RUclips videos on the making of "Forrest Gump", I realized that was just one of many awesome special effects!

    You know, I always thought that was the end to his character, but it’s actually not. I always thought he swam away and died and that was the end of it. But you actually see him at the wedding.

    Lt Dan is not the only or best character development in the movie, Jenny’s growth and overcome of abuse and trauma is one of the most beautiful and tragic things the movie offers

  • @Medietos
    @Medietos Год назад

    Lt Dan's excessive pride, arrogance and pride were shattered, and God gave him the opportunity to break down and build something new, true and beautiful from the pieces. Simple, honest, egoless Forrest was one right person to heal with, since his sore pride didn't get irritated but could -hopefully it happened, I don't remember - heal undisturbed. Did he say to F. that he had ordered Napalm in the whole area F wanted to run back? If´t was prettily done of Dan to make that call despite badly wounded. Why didn't he get any medal? Even if USA did war críme on those little, poor people, they followed orders and were made to believe the Vietnamese were bad. And the US killed far, far more than theý had killed.

    05:00 It is things like this in movies, TV, etc. that cause people to incorrectly refer to the United States' highest military decoration for valor in combat as the "Congressional Medal of Honor." Although the award was created by Congress, there is no "Congressional" in the name. It is simply the Medal of Honor. There is the Congressional Medal of Honor Society that was chartered by Congress, which is why the word Congressional proceeds the societies name.
