Description:
The route is 13 meters lone, short and powerful in overhanging terrain. It doesn't feel so overhanging though, because the line goes over many big edges. It starts out with a technical mantel, followed by a dynamic move to a giant edge where you can rest. The crux is a traverse on bad handholds, but good feet. Clipping the anchor needs good foot placements, because the top hold is a very directional sidepull/undercling and you need to get as much weight on the feet as possible to release the left hand for the clip.

I get the climber audio through the Zoom F2 field recorder. It's very small, so it fits into the climbers pocket and has a cable with microphone that is attached to either harness or t-shirt 😃 The hard part is to reduce the sound of the drone in the background, which I'm still figuring out though.

One more thing, I just watched it again with the sound on, your commentary is also brilliant! How would you grade the cruxes if they were boulders at an indoor gym?
Hmm, I think the first crux on its own (from the big ledge to the pinch) is probably 7a+ outdoor boulder. The second crux is maybe 6b. So, not that hard by them selves 😄 The difficulty lies in combining it all, which requires good flow, power endurance, and correctly timed rests.

It's the "Ohm" by Edelrid. It basically makes it possible for lighter climbers to belay heavy climbers.

Glad you liked the video! The harness is called "Black Diamond Solution". Personally i preferre the BD Zone though, as it is a little lighter.

very nicely filmed 👍. There are so many great routes in Ötztal. In the 7b/+ range you have "A flotter dreier" and "Tanz der Elemente" at Piburger see. The latter is even more beautiful than "Le miracle". Maybe the best route I have ever climbed. Then you have "Zwillingsriss" in Oetz, the double crack visible to the road.

Wow what a line! This went right on my dreamlist. You climbed it pretty effortless. Are there jams where one could rest?
Jacob climbed it layed back, but I did it jamming the whole way through from where the crack starts. It is possible to rest everywhere in the big crack with 👊 jams or just by squeezing your whole arm in 💪

this is not granite and this crack since it has good foot placement could be also climbed with dulfer
He made the upper part look so strenuous by laybacking. Where I live, there would be no more bolts available after the 3rd one.
Not all people like to jam. I find compression climbing and lay backing much cooler.
How was he supposed to climb then ?
