Bought a WiiU a month ago (never owned a Wii or WiiU before) completely new to it. I have a few WiiU games & recently bought some Wii games, just got this one for £5, when I receive it I will try it out 😊 Thanks for the review.

Ok Zoomer, Super Mario Galaxy 2 was not the first direct sequel, there have been many others in the Mario franchise

Mario Kart has been one of my favorite game series ever since I was a very young child. Mario Kart DS was one of the first video games I played obsessively, and I adored all its unique mechanics like mission mode, snake drifting, and customizing my own emblem. Then, I started playing MKWii, and it remains to this day my favorite in the whole series. It felt like nearly everyone I knew played this game back in elementary school. So many times when I was at a friend's house, we'd get a big group together to play some Mario Kart Wii. The chaotic item balancing only made the game more fun, and gave every game this exciting unpredictability that no other Mario Kart game has quite matched for me. Despite being slightly disappointed we were forced into teams for battles, I still had a ton of fun during online multiplayer in particular trying my best not to get slaughtered by players who were far better than me. Frankly, I was much better at racing than battles in MKWii. I preferred the battle mode in MKDS, but I still liked the battle courses they had in Wii, especially with how courses like Block Plaza and Delfino Pier changed their structure as the timer counted down. I loved how you could view and race against the fastest time trial ghosts in the world using the Mario Kart Wii Channel. I learned a lot of interesting shortcuts (and glitches) as a kid from following how these ghosts pulled off some insanely short times. One thing I love about MKWii that's unfortunately stuck in the past is the tournaments that you could compete in on the MKWii channel, which were basically the game's equivalent to the mission mode in DS, with official challenges players could participate in for a few weeks before they disappeared (I still have some of the notifications for them saved on my Wii's calendar). Unfortunately, after the Nintendo Wi-fi servers shut down for the Wii in 2014, there's no way to play these tournaments that I know of. I had a lot of fun with the few of them I participated in, but now I just wish they would just give a proper mission mode with the types of challenges so they wouldn't just disappear after their over like the tournaments have. After the Nintendo Wi-Fi servers shut down, MKWii led me to discover and attempt modding for the first time ever just to find a way to make my Wii play online multiplayer again. I still play Mario Kart Wii's online multiplayer on the Wiimmfi servers to this day. I've played the various MK games with tons of friends and family members over the years. It is the ultimate casual multiplayer game in my eyes.

It was a lot more complex than prime 1 but it’s undeniably massive and complicated and geniusly designed. Takes a special kind of mind to really love it, I think, and I hope to love it more at some point perhaps. Not my favorite right now, but like I said, the greatness is undeniable. I also played the gamecube version, not sure how much that alters it.

I wanted to say, the chykka adult phase you have to use the seeker missiles on the wings. It one shots the wings and makes it fall. Reducing the length of the fight dramatically

hypermode overloads so you have to rapidly shoot to off gas. In addition to that, your suit fails to deactivate hypermode so it turns off automatically. The problem is that it builds and builds, combined with you feeling when it will turn off equals full life no matter what since you would just end close to full life.

I like the physics in this game. You have quite some in-air control during a jump before you land.

@15:30 Anthem can still be played. There are still (small) groups online. I just completed it a few weeks ago.

In bo bomb battlefield it is possible to get all the stars without the Wing Cap When I was a kid I actually never figured out how to unlock the power ups So me and my brother to get the star would just aiming to the sky where we thought The secret coins would be and that's how we got that Star And on top of that all the metal cap required Stars can be done without the metal cap with enough fast swimming in perseverance

I think part of the reason why games like these come out despite constant flak is due to games taking longer to make in general. By the time a company might realize that nobody wants their products they would have already invested millions into a project

Super Mario Galaxy was my first ever Mario game, it holds an extremely special place in my heart, even though Ive had the game for YEARS, I still have the disc, it still reads. When i got my Wii for my birthday this year, I stuck it into the drive and booted it up, I got hit with a huge wave of nostalgia, almost crying. I miss those times. I miss the wii days.

Looking at these companies I have little doubt they would do what Kale did if they could. On that note I think I should be on the lookout for real life SPECTRA devices now. O.O

They killed great games to stop players being pulled away from Call of Duty.....That's all Microsoft wants to succeed...COD and lets be honest that's all they ever wanted from the start.

You got to be kidding me. You're telling me the devs from Hi-Fi Rush got fired? That's one of the only games I actually finished on the couple of months I had game pass. It was an amazing experience.

Most gaming issues would fix if all gamers stopped buying micro transactions or season passes. It's not corporate incompetence that is destroying all this games (tho it's not the opposite either), but rather an issue of market incentives. (mostly agreeing with the video conclusions)
