    Hello Joao, in this video you have explained the perfect type of person who I am. I can definite say that I could be in your shoes and, it's very difficult to step out from this bad bahaviour but at the end of the day it's all up to us and we must've get our hands dirty little by little in order to improve. Yeah, we aren't that way only in English we have become this way thanks to our environment and the people we jave around. I understand that, the only solution is to stop a bit, have a good look back at the roots of it and then as soon as possible build some other good and correct habits. In the video we can see that your confidence in front of the camera has improved but, has it improve even outside while talking with people around, please? 😊

    Nice vid good tips, however in my opinion it depends on the situation, for example i'm hearing impaired and have hearing aids. Even in my mother tongue I need subtitles to understand my own language, and I love english so much, for so long I tried to take off the subtites thinking i'm gon improve, it just can't happen for my impairment is still there, even in another language. I'm trying to get better, i consider myself a B2 in reading and A2+/b1- in listening, depending on various factors, given that i'll probably know all of the words, but once assembled and said together my ears have difficulty understanding, if I had live subtitles in real life i'd definitely be a B2. And it saddens me for I love english so much....I'll keep working tho for I'm always improving but the fact that I have to work twice as much( at the very least) tires me mentally.

    Your video is great, but I disagree with you about certain goals not being "good enough" because, as long as the goal feels authentic to a person, it's already valid and enough! What matters in terms of being consistent or not is being strategic, having a plan and knowing how to adapt your studies throughout the learning process. Plus, the compound effect is really interesting, small steps are incredible efficient over time.

    Time Constraints and Overwhelm: Many people feel they lack time to learn English due to work, school, and other responsibilities. The narrator relates by sharing his own experience of working 12-hour days. Quality Over Quantity: Progress in learning doesn't necessarily come from studying many hours but from fully focused, distraction-free study sessions, even if they are short. The "Eat the Frog" Method: Concept Explanation: Tackle the most challenging or least enjoyable tasks first thing in the morning when energy levels are highest. Application to English Learning: Prioritize difficult aspects like speaking and writing in your study routine before moving on to easier tasks like reading and listening. Eliminating Distractions: To maximize the effectiveness of limited study time, remove all potential distractions such as phones, notifications, and interruptions. Structured One-Hour Study Plan: Writing (15 minutes): Focus on improvisation, imagination, and exercises to enhance speed and accuracy. Activities can include journaling or writing short essays. Speaking (25 minutes): Practice speaking on various topics, possibly recording yourself or conversing with a language partner to improve pronunciation and fluency. Reading (10 minutes): Read materials that interest you to build vocabulary and comprehension. Reading aloud can also improve pronunciation. Listening (10 minutes): Engage in active listening by focusing intently on audio materials like podcasts or videos, taking notes, and summarizing key points. Adaptability: Customize the study routine to fit personal schedules and lifestyles. The key is consistency and making the most of the time available. Overcoming Procrastination: By addressing the most avoided tasks first, you reduce the likelihood of making excuses to skip them later. Mental Energy Management: Use peak mental energy periods for tasks that require the most effort to enhance productivity and learning outcomes. Insight: The core message emphasizes that strategic prioritization and focused effort can significantly enhance learning efficiency, even within tight time constraints. By tackling the most challenging tasks when energy levels are highest and eliminating distractions, one can make meaningful progress and break free from the cycle of procrastination and perceived lack of time.

    • @Silvia-pc2vj
      @Silvia-pc2vj 5 дней назад

      I think that the title is correct. The structure is not a question. It is an affirmative statement and, personally, even when I understand the reasons why you think it should be 'it' at the end, native speakers omit the pronoun very often, so it sounds more natural.

    • @Silvia-pc2vj
      @Silvia-pc2vj 5 дней назад

      Asking to ChatGpt .... he says that it is usually to omit 'it' in casual speech, but for a video it is better to add 'it' at the end, as you said. @GabrielStud
