I finally go Off road on the CF Moto 450MT, I head up to Woods Point via Warburton to Matlock then Woods point. Absolutely loving the bike, it’s fantastic on the dirt, the tyres especially the front is crap. I’ll need to get some better tyres soon!!! Did you like this vid? CF Moto 450MT another casual ride

I go for a leisurely ride down along Port Phillip Bay, stopping into some of the sights along the way. I also go up Arthurs seat to see the beautiful views of the bay. On the way back I get a Magpie attacking me, or should I say trying to!!! Did you like this vid? Please help support the channel and buy me a coffee at buymeacoffee.com/ozzyadv

Picking up my CFMOTO 450MT from TeamMoto

Finally got mine! Ordered in early July, arrived late August. I had a fully charged GoPro battery but it died on the way home, it now won’t hold a charge at all. Oh well these things happen, just at the wrong time…. Anyway I’m looking forward to this bike, it will be perfect to commute on during the week and get out and play on the weekends….. Gembrook Bunyip Andersons Track Husqvarna FE501

Daniel and I head to Gembrook, Bunyip State Park. First track we get onto is Andersons Track where we spent most of our time. We didn’t make it to the end of the track, one steep slippery section got the better of use. I hope you enjoy this quick vid….

We did a big loop, stared out at Emerald went to Healsville, Marysville down the Big River road, then down Eildon-Jamieson to Eildon-Warburton road and back to the start of Big River road. In total for me it was a 400km ride and took around 9 hours.
Mt Terrible Dirt Bike Adventure ride
Просмотров 1 тыс.Год назад
We did a day trip up to Mt Terrible. Left home at 6:45am and got back at around 4:45pm, it was a big day but well worth it.
Nice mate. Have you got a gps track of this ride?
enjoying your videos sir keep them coming please
Awesome ride thank for sharing
Amigo cenários incríveis muito top👌. Canal subscrito ✌️
Looks like some good spots mate. Can you share your GPX file? I'd like to do that ride on my 450MT too.
Sorry mate I don’t exactly have it, I go by memory for the most part. I can put one together, starting from Warburton to Eildon if that helps?
@@OzzyADV Legend mate, that would be awesome! Thank you
@ Got it done, where do I send it?
450 MT sounds pretty meaty
That’s the standard muffler as well, I will be changing it at some stage, just want it a little louder…
Some nice tracks! Enjoyed the video mate. Stay upright 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks mate.
Just ordered my 450mt and i was just wondering how i am going to get my bike home at the 4000rpm as most of my trip home is 80to90 klm speed limits...how did yo go 😜🤪
Ha ha yeah it’s not easy to keep it under 4K…. My trip home was a max speed zone of 80kmh so it wasn’t to bad. Can you trailer it home?
@@OzzyADV yes I could probably get my sons trailer but I may just get very adventurous and take a lot of back roads home witch would take about 2 hours and have a great time doing it .. from warners Bay to Branxton nsw 😄😄🤟👍
Rode that area plenty of times, never tire of it..sold of my bikes and waiting on my mt450 the end of the month..cant wait😊
Never gets boring around that area. Well I’m sure you will enjoy the MT, it’s worth the wait.
What has your fuel range been?
Depending on how I ride, it’s about 350-400ks to a tank.
I've got my eye on the MT450, haven't had a bike for a few years coming from enduro/trail riding background. Used to camp up big River and do Woodsie or gap getaway runs all the time.
How good are GiantLoop handlebar bags? so handy got one on my bike
Yeh it’s bloody good hey, just handy to have and easy to use.
I live just out of Eildon and often walk my dogs around Foggs lookout. That faint mountain just to the right of the power lines is Mt Buller. On a clear Winters day you can see the snow caps. I have a KLX250 at the moment, but very keen on a 450MT.
You’re so lucky to live up there, it’s so beautiful. I would recommend anyone the 450MT, such a great bike.
Beautiful roads man ❤
Don't support the Chinese!
So you don't buy anything Chinese? You can honestly say that nothing in your house was manufactured in China? We live in a global economy. You're about 20 years behind.
Nice video, great road around the lake. I am based in Brisbane. What is the GPS unit you are using and what bracket did you use?
G’day mate, it’s just a cheap CarPlay unit off AliExpress. I’m using the Gaia GPS App on my phone, works well.
Nice opening shots. Where was that look out, i.e., road ?
Thanks mate. That’s on Mt Pinniger Road which takes you to Foggs Lookout
Great video mate. I have been camping on mine up and around where you were.
Thanks mate, any river side camping spots? I would love to camp a night up there…
@OzzyADV Minehaha Falls Campground in the Tara-Bulga NP. is a good spot, and then they just roll on from there. Have a look at the link. maps.app.goo.gl/pvT7GDezUap2t9YA9 maps.app.goo.gl/pvT7GDezUap2t9YA9
Nice opening drone shots, well done.I took my little XT250 up there last Xmas for a week and rode around, loved it.I'm on the Mornington Peninsula so close to home as well. There are so many scenic dirt roads there, will be doing it again.
G’day mate, thanks for watching. Yeah it’s so nice up that way, we are lucky to have it all so close to home hey… I have so many planned trips!!
Geez the Cfmoto 450 is a really nice bike, thanks for sharing 🇦🇺🤘
Thanks for watching, yeah it’s a very nice bike, I’m enjoying more each time I ride it.
Thanks for this cool video 😁, all that’s left to do is advertise it
What’s the service intervals on the 450MT, 12 months or every 6 months ?
First one is at 1000Ks then every 5000ks after that.
Don't support the Chinese.
What is it that you buy that's not Chinese made?
@wally1166 a lot. I pay a little more, but I always shop around.
Don’t kid yourself Mate. If you drive a car, any car, it’s loaded with chi tech. And if you ride which I guess you do, you’re rolling around on a machine dripping in it. I’m in Canada and mostly ride Harley’s and even they are filled with Chinese technology. Like it or not.
well done mate . geez , you were pushing along alright on EJ Rd there for a bit
Bloody awesome section along there, definitely do that again…
5.00. Y
GPS files please :)
Im not super familiar with CFMoto's bikes, and the aftermarket parts youre referring to, like bar risers, heated grips, etc, specific for this bike? Is there already aftermarket support for it? Or are you using more universal parts?
G’day mate, yes there is plenty of aftermarket parts out for this bike. I both universal parts and some specific for this bike.
Sorry mate, your video told us nothing about the bike, heavy on fuel, easy on gravel, no power, some power, heavy to lift up etc, on road cost for you, who you bought your accessories from CF Moto online or B and B Victoria, cost of these etc. Disappointing but keep going as I think you will improve. A good review is done by MADTV and another by and English journalist who absolutely flogs the bike and says for price point hard to beat but terrible ground clearance. Your view?
G’day mate, thanks for the feedback. I wasn’t reviewing the bike, that’s why I didn’t talk about the things you mentioned. There are plenty of others happy to review the bike. For me the bike just does everything well, it’s not amazing at anything in-particularly. I haven’t been able to take on any tracks as such due to nursing an injured back and shoulder.
Pls introduce the mods you did Thanks
Ah yes I should go over the mods, next time. Although I haven’t really done much, I fitted 20mm bar risers, Oxford heated grips, Barkbuster, TPMS, Short clutch lever, AliExpress Upper Crash bars, Rubber fuel tank protection and a dash sun visor.
@ those are good enough for a full video review 👍
Nice bike, very sexy
What model your carplay is? Thanks
It’s just a cheap one off AliExpress, I just wanted to try one before I bought a better quality and more expensive one. Which I think I’ll do in the near future.
Have you sprocket change? Original 14 or 15?
Yes I changed it to the 15T, so far it’s been great.
Great video mate... I was just through there on the weekend.
Beautiful place isn’t it, I’m looking forward to my next trip up there already
Ha. I was down there yesterday. I kinda considered the CF, as I was looking at the Himi. But I sat on the CF, and I’ll be taking that for a test ride 😋
Go the CF man, I’m loving mine more and more each time I ride it. Can’t wait to take off road….
Nice coastal scenic ride. It almost looked tropical with the palm trees and rainforest growth around in some areas. I don't live in the high country myself...but in the polly country with Batemans Bay being the nearest coastal get away from the ACT ;)
Thanks for your review or information regarding your new CF Moto 450MT. I heard you say you have been suffering from a sore back and wondered if the weight of the bike was any concern to you. I have been looking at some smaller motorcycles myself as I ride a 2009 Yamaha TDM 900 twin cylinder which cruises nice on the freeway. I need a motorcycle that is capable of going off road which the CF Moto 450MT looks ideal for my needs. I accidently dropped my TDM900 at home some time back as it lost traction on the wet grass after much rain which took some strength to pick it up which is my only worry about the CF Moto 450MT.
G’day mate, I haven’t had to pick it up yet! I was going to lay it on its side at home in the backyard to see what it’s like to pick up. Unfortunately I hurt my shoulder doing some work around the house and haven’t been able to do much, only just got back to riding a couple of days ago. Riding it on the road I don’t notice the weight, so it’s pretty easy to ride, my back has no issues and it probably helps with the ergonomics of the bike too. When my shoulder feels good again I’ll give it a try…..
Great video and thabks for posting. Can i ask what the bag is you have on the handle bars and what other accessores/mods you have
Thanks mate, the bag on the handlebars is the Zigzag Giant loop. I have fitted the whites heated grips, uncle wang short clutch lever, rear brake fluid tank protection, navigation bracket, 15T sprocket and I’m in the process of fitting a CarPlay unit.
cheers mate. Is that a tyre monitor system as well ?
@@Taf68 oh yes forgot about that, only just fitted it.
Good on ya Ozzy, great bike, I think Cfmoto, Yamaha an KTM may have just got it right, I can't wait to get one, maybe in my dreams. Each person has different riding needs and wants, and I'm impressed they gave us a bike that has heaps of adjustment options and accessories at an affordable price. Lucky u. 🇦🇺👍
It’s an impressive bike, I believe it will do everything well for most people. I can’t wait to take it off road…..
How's it go with 15t sprocket tooth im selling my Africa twin for a 450mt for everday riding 25ks to work and 25ks home on hume highway plus weekend adventure rides in Victorian high country.
I haven’t done any 100k zones yet but I can’t see it being an issue.
👍🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊
在这里骑上自己喜欢的摩托车看海边的风景简直棒极了。
Gday mate, wherr did yiu buy the 15tooth front sprocket from ?
I got it off AliExpress, hopefully this link works….. www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805940398583.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.39.44c41802S8l3vh&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt
I had the impression, that the pipe/exaust became a bit louder after a few 100 km.😊
Yeah I was thinking that as well, happy to report it has got a little louder. I still think it could be louder though, so at some point I might change it…
Why would you stay in the middle lane? Dont they teach u there to stay in the slow lane by default? And more over if you are the slowest? That's the level
It was a Saturday morning, no one cares…..
Sometimes, middle is safer I reckon. Hang in the left and you have to watch for dickheads as they try and merge from the left - middle lane, no worries.
Also, there’s no such thing as a slow lane. By law you cannot exceed the speed limit in any lane.
Congrats on your new bike✌️did I hear it was vibey🤔the motor sounds sweet. P.S. your driving on the wrong side of the road🤪
Thanks mate, no not vibey at all, it’s really smooth. lol I was just following the cars…..
All mt s have sold out in uk when they come looking at 6 months for next batch
We were lucky here in Australia, didn’t have to wait long at all.
Same here in Germany in autumn 😢
How are you finding the wind buffeting?
Yeah I do get a little around 80ks, might need a taller screen.
Nice audio and ride. I'm in Mulgrave so I do go up that way a fair bit. There is a nice dirt back road that you can take from the Basin to Olinda, running along mount highway. I'd try that road first if I ever finish deciding which ADV to get. Question, would the 450MT be under power with a pillion? I take my 13 yo son on the back of my Z900 currently.
Ah a local…. Good old Gembrook isn’t to far away, some good dirt roads up that way and beyond. I don’t think it would have any issues with a pillion at all, obviously coming from your Z900 you will notice a difference though..
@OzzyADV I remember my first LAMS bike, Ninja 250 and it was gutless. I just need something with a bit of power that can do 2 up, suspension travel ~200mm and can ride anywhere that has light dirt roads/asphalt.
Sounds like the 450MT would suit your needs. My daughter used to come for rides with me on the Harley but she is at an age now where her social life is way more important lol. I’ll see if she is keen to try out the 450MT and report back. Don’t like my chances though lol
@OzzyADV thanks mate. I was also looking at getting a second hand gs 800 for a bit cheaper but of course it doesn't have any techs like this bike.
@@TwistofWrist sometimes it can be hard to choose which way to go….
Some people are saying gear shift is very smooth but i find my downshifts r not so smooth. But then i again, just picked up mine and have only clocked 70kms so too early too tell. All i knw is that i ❤ mine! Nice video by the way
Yeah I think it just needs more time to bed in and it will get smoother. Yeah it’s a fun bike, that’s for sure.
