I have had good results with BAE engines and heads. KB too. Wish you were making the big valve heads too. I have a couple KB's with the 9/16 head studs and they are pretty early production. The BAEs have been really good to me. I haven't had any issues. The new KB facility is local to me which I like. We don't have decent machine shops in the Tampa Bay area. True story. It's getting BAD

Nick's Garage in Canada is a big Mopar guy and he rebuilds many factory hemis and 440 cu in engines and rear main leaks is always something he looks for. He has a engine dyno room and everything that he rebuilds goes on the dyno and tuned for max HP before going to the customer you should check his channel out it's awesome if your into Mopars he does other brands too but Mopars are the main thing he does and has many Americans that bring their car to him www.youtube.com/@NicksGarage/videos

Ultra-rare in that there were only two of these demos ever made, and even Chrysler/Plymouth execs didn't know where this one was, my grandfather ran that classroom for decades and won the Plymouth Troubleshooting Contest with his students so many years that the competition ultimately told him they hoped he'd never come back, RIP Waymon Wray. Did my heart good to see that classroom again...mixed feelings about it leaving the school but it's a neat piece of history for sure. One thing they don't mention is it plugs into the wall and runs on an electric motor, you can see the pistons turning, etc.

Go watch Rick Seaman's videos on his KB Hemi build. He says the dowel pins for the heads are off by .006" and the stock 426 Hemi used Ø.246" dowels instead of the more common Ø.250" used on his KB block. Maybe get a set of production drawings from Chrysler if they will sell them to you.

Used to be good friends with Wes Cerny KB shop Forman and engine builder for the Coors Lite Blown Alcohol Hydro, while I was engine builder and Crew Chief for "Ofixco" #172 Blown Alcohol Hydro.....

Very cool I worked at KB in late 80s with Wes Cerny and John Garrison we did some bad ass HEMI engines 636ci tractor pull and 557ci Big Willie off shore boats too

I enjoy working on Mopars, Hemi engines are legends. My classic Dodge daily driver is a 318 engine with lots of miles and still going strong.

I'm so glad to see Keith Black back in operation and making engines again. I worked for Keith black up in South Gate, right out of high school in the 1980's milling billet aluminum crank shafts. I always came home covered in aluminum chips. The old Italian milling machine I worked on used to break its mounts to the floor and dance around the room until you could dive for the stop button and turn off the mill. A little scary but the guys seemed to enjoy it. Glad that machine is gone. Good luck to the new Keith Black.

I'd like to know the particulars of that Pro Stock looking street engine. That would be badass in a Pro Street car with two Holley Dominator looking throttle bodies sitting on top of that intake. A throttle body fuel injected Pro Stock replica engine that is mild enough to drive on the to street, but looks strip only when the hood is off at a car show.
