The PBR's were better riverboats than the Swiftboats. The PBR's had a better draft for shallow water, and were more maneuverable. The dual 6V53 Detroits would "sing" on the rivers.

Nothing but Respect for the Swift Boat Sailors. They were floating targets in Vietnam. No hole to crawl into, just open water, I was a Tin Can Sailor, we would give them Anything they needed when they came alongside.

The commentator gives the impression the the Swift boat fired on the VC first. This breaks the first "Rules of engagement" he also gives the Impression that the Swift boat was inland when it engages the VC. This breaks the third "Rules of Engagement" for SWIFT boats. On the other hand I would have given the OIC and Crew a big ataboy.
