Anne, don't beat yourself up about pattern writing. I am too unoriginal to think of a pattern to make up myself. It's so much easier to find errors than to have a great idea and put it on paper (so to speak). Your pattern is beautiful and just needs a few tweaks. That's what test knitters are for.

Anne, you hit the nail on the head by pointing out the hypocrisy of pro life people who say Trump isn't doing enough for the pro life issue. These were the same people who were saying that Roe vs Wade was bad law.

I've been talking to local people and there are several who have decided to register to vote. I never used to do that but there's so much at stake. We have to if we care about the future.

The economy isn't a separate issue from abortion. An important part of being pro life is to address the economy so that people can afford to take care of their children. Most abortions happen for financial reasons and the Biden/Kamala approach has only made it harder for families with children to live.

DK I realized that you are right, we do need to speak up more. I'll make more of an effort to now on. I said something to a coworker who I thought was a liberal and found out that I was wrong, which also has encouraged me.

Great points…..We need to learn incrementalism. The left is very good at it! Trump is the only way forward for the nation. We keep trying.
