This is a great program and easy to use. I hope in the future there will be a feature to show the correlation value between observations and climate models (rsquare, pbias, NSE, etc.) 1. Hello Sir, first of all, thank you for this fantastic information. Despite trying multiple times with my DEM data, I couldn't successfully convert it into HAND Model data. The application shows a 'successfully converted' message, and a data file is created with almost the same file size as the DEM. However, the HAND data I generated cannot be viewed in any program, including HAND itself. Since I kept getting the same error after dozens of attempts, I wanted to reach out to you for help. Hi, It's difficult to model a labyrinth in hec-ras 2d, however you can use some modification on Terrain model and create your weir and then run the 2d model

You have taken a very micro area in that visualization seems good but when it comes to whole watershed depth mapping looks like a river network how i will interpret it?
Hi, this method is not depend on the catchment size and you can use it for small to large scale watersheds. the main issue that can impact the model output is the spatial resolution of your DEM. for example, if you use coarse resolution DEMs it's hard to interpret the outputs especially in upstream river reaches. for getting better results try to use high resolution DEMs

The terrain for the dam break analysis I have, does not have topography contours under the lake (it only shows the water elevation) and when I model the dam, the dam cross section has an unrealistically high foundation level and hence I can’t model the break correctly. Do you have any suggestions for this please?
@@shahinghanooni4163 For this issue, you must have the reservoir topographic map. If you do not have this, try to use the channel modification option in HEC-RAS to create a new bed slope based on your cross-section shape in the upstream of the lake. I mean, you should modify the channel shape and channel slope in upstream of you dam, synthetically.
