Love what you do... except for the part where you used the air gun on the MDF dust. My non-smoking wife has had COPD for a number of years... you don't want to go there! Use a vacuum. Love your videos BUT loose the background music, it's very annoying when trying to listen to what you are saying.

Its hard to take you guys seriously with the ridiculous wood base. Stop messing about and make concrete/epoxy base frame with inset alloy or steel fixture table like the langmuir MR1 beef up a few components like ball screws and a serious spindle and use thicker steel section...... everywhere and then you'll have my attention.

Are you familiar with how rotary valve systems work? Seems like it would help you if applied to an engine that has parts this small.

I have some nice Rolls Royce Merlin CAD models for when you are ready to do one of those.

6 hours... MDF machine surface been there tried it and replaced it, it you don't want to changes it put a 20mm thick steel plate, with a decent size under your tooling.... the weight will reduce the chatter and flex a little
