I'm going to say from other videos I have seen either a careful inspection or replacement of the rocker covers would be in order when you're doing this service and maybe a throttle body clean.

Try putting the alarm in valet mode by cycling the key three times. To turn it back on cycle it three times. The alarm does not work in valet mode.

Holy s*** man I have been going batshit crazy trying to figure out why my bottom radiator hose won't get hot. I'm pretty sure you solved my problem. I'm on a time out right now me and that damn thing has had words so I'm cooling off thank you thank you thank you.

@michaelbragg7216 where does the paperclip go? in this video its not shown how he actually connected them. is it simply pulling the black/white wire out and putting it back in with one end of a paperclip, and then the same for the blue/pink wire? some of these wires are super tight getting them back in...

How did you clean the solenoid?

Im not a mechanic but I can do minor work. My coil just went out in the 3rd position. I saw your video, YOu did a great job explaining the operation. Should I expect the mechanic to replace the sparkplug if he replaces the coil?

Having the same experience with our new to us 2015 rzr 900. Just fyi, the reason that solenoid burns up is because of the solid state driver that is used to control it. From my understanding, the solenoid isnt rated for 100% duty cycle at 12v. So what polaris did was use a driver and programmed the ecu to hit the solenoid with the full 12v initially to get it to move, then the voltage is *supposed* to be reduced to half that to allow the solenoid to hold its position and not burn up. Well, what happens is that driver shorts out and sends the full 12v to that solenoid any time the key is in the run position which leads it burning up. On the bright side, even with the shorted driver, you can get rid of the solenoid and there wont be any codes because the ecu still sees the driver. As for the crank seal, i was able to fight with that for an hour and get it out without removing the engine. Luckily there is an alternate seal you can be that is the correct dimensions without the flange. Theres also a plate you purchase that goes over the new seal and acts as an external retainer to ensure the seal stays in place without the flange.

It works better taking the front end off so you can still move by the time your done. This job is a back wrecker, or if you have any jacked up ribs it would be about impossible laying over the front end.

If it leaks after installed you did something wrong. Never put silicone on a gasket. Also that secondary system is egr and transmission. Primary cools the turbo.

Searched up a how to video a few days ago. After being quoted 7500 for a water pump and intercooler replacement. Saw your video and got to it myself. I appreciate you making this video big time! Replaced the water pump myself for less than $200 . My truck runs good as new. I even added the high temp silicone and not a single drop! Thank you so much !

My 2006 Escape hybrid driving me nuts with the rear passenger door open alarm. All these videos I check out seem to be the same damn door. Thanks for the tip. Now if only someone would explain what kind of engineer would design headlight switches that when they fail they go into high beam mode. I have to drive at nights one hand driving while the other holds the stupid switch in just the right spot not to high beam other drivers. You have to remove the steering wheel to get the replacement assembly in when a "U" shape circuit board instead of the ring would have sufficed. The ring requires the removal of the steering wheel, I have the part, but messing with the airbag worries the expletive out of me, even with the battery disconnected.

DId the extra O-ring trick on mine and it's still a "semi-air cooled" motor (as one sharp guy called it). So I cut a piece of 1/4 inch plywood and stuck it between the fan shroud and radiator, holding it in place by those two top bolts. After some experiencing, I found that cutting the plywood at the bottom to expose about 3 inches of radiator worked fine in the winter and early spring. But I had to make another piece--my Summer Piece--when the weather hit the 80s and 90s. The "Summer Piece" has 7 inches of lower radiator exposed, and the needle never gets past the "L" in "Normal.

My mom was just quoted $650 for this, (2023 in NJ) can anyone tell me what you were quoted? To me 650 sounds a tad high and I was expecting in the $400. The $650 included plugs but I think I'm going to buy the plugs because they usually use the cheapest plugs that are OEM. What price were you quoted for this and where? Also I was thinking the NGK Iridium IX Plugs or the NGK Ruthenium HX or the NGK Laser Iridium I like NGK but I also see the Autolite Iridium Iridium XP works and that one has good reviews.

Any advice for removing the clip on the hose at the base of the water pump. The small connector on the pump came off easily. I know it's there. I just can't see it from under the truck.

I just saw this video and have some questions. I have an IH 384 D with same layout on tractor but would like some clarification on what on the loader hooks to tractor and how. I have never been able to use loader for more than 15 minutes before losing lift power on loader and loft power on 3 pt linkage.

Never put silicone on those o ring gaskets. Just clean the mating surface and your good to go.

None of my doors alarmed when locked in and tried to open the doors. So, I have no idea which door?? Do I have to do all the doors? I did the right rear as there was a previous record of it being done.. Might be driver door as it has to be opened with the key even if you unlock with remote. Could it be the drivers door?

I have the gas model 2444 mine has a handle up by the control under the seat and a brand new pump on it but still loses pressure so I can't use the loader or power steering system.

Gaskets are made to seal, not to be sealed.

I understand what your saying but they make aftermarket seals to replace those with. It took me about 2 hours to get the factory seal out it was not easy but can be done and only took 15 minutes to put the new warranty killer seal back in. I did not have to pull the engine at all. I also agree with you on the older Honda being the best but the newer Hondas are junk. I bought a 2020 Honda pioneer 500 kept up service and every oil change perfect and at 980 miles on it the thing started using oil I was going through a quart every 40-50 miles so had to put top end on it and sell it. My brother bought a 2020 Honda pioneer 700 the same time I bought the Honda pioneer 500 he got 470 miles out of his and it started using oil but it was using so much oil it was pouring out the tail pipe. When we put the topend on his 700 all ring was lined up just letting oil into the cylinder so im differently scared of the newer Hondas. I'm not saying all new Hondas are like that but I trust and 2000 Honda 400ex alot more then I could ever trust a new Honda after my personal experience with them. Thanks for video have great day
