This thing is insanely slow 😢. I thought the 4 stroke engines would grab more on bottom rpm... so sad to see, that these modern engines are that powerless. My last 4 stroke 50cc was a kymco super 8 from 2011. with disconnected cabel on the cdi for speed/rev limiter and shortend sliding bush it would be on 75 kph at same time you hit the 45
Indeed! I have a Kymco New Sento 50i, also with 3 valves, injection and G-Kat. It can do 0 to 40 in 8 seconds unstead 12 or more like here.

My 2020 SR 50 absolutely demolishes the SXR. It does 80kph np. Its a pity because its coming up to MoT and I want a new one. Must add its a shit starter. Some annoying things but it rides great.

If you would like to get the best performance out of the Malossi Multivar you should also have the Malossi air intake and ECU. This will make the bike rev up all the way to 9500 RPM and breath much better. I've seen people squeeze 69km'h out of that setup. I will be getting my SXR in a few weeks after breaking it in I will tune it for sure
How much does it cost totally?

Hi@@louispano6046 the tune and top speed are highly dependent on how the bike performs stock and weather conditions. I broke mine in and stock I got around 49km/h on the meter (which was 45km/h on gps). At the moment i've done Malossi Multivar with air intake and 7,5 gram rolls. This gives better power and 59km/h top on the meter. Furthermore I opened one of the see through caps on the air intake box for a smoother power delivery. In my opinion it looks like the engine is not breathing properly due to poor intake. Limiting not the power it makes but the way it is delivered. I've talked to a mechanic about the Malossi Injectronic ECU and he tells me installing it will cause significantly more wear on the cilinder specifically. With the way my engine is performing I do think installing it will give more power and putting me around the 69km/h figure I mentioned earlier. For the moment i'm driving about 1000km to break in this new setup before I think about additional changes. I would recommend buying your parts from Malossi themselves: malossistore.com/ If you would like I can look up the specific part numbers I installed. Hope this helps

@@fredde7356 theres a switch with different positions these switch the fuelling programme which are commonly called maps, the second position is map 2.

@@fredde7356 no totally standard. its my mums whos 72 and its max so far on the flat is 37mph.

You wont find it under this model, you gave to search it under other piaggio models... Just fit right weights inside...

It uses the same roller dimensions as SR50, 19x15,5...

It didn't work on my Vespa Sprint Euro 5 2021, the engine revs up and therefore makes more noise but no power gain... Don't buy this crap!
Try to change the exhaust. I’ve bought a 2th hands exhaust, not a polini one. Just a random one. Gained power up to 60kmh, with the polini hispeed vario. I must say, the crazy noise is from your exhaust, not from your gears (I thought it was, but its from your exhaust), probably because a stock euro 5 exhaust has 4 katysalators

SR50 is superior to SXR50...I sell this one SXR50 after 6 months and went went back to SR...

@@jstrmsnik power, power, power...torque...sr50 accelerates to 75km/h without problem...you're not dependent on ambient temperature, wind....when you step on gas it just launch....you have rear and front disc brakes, its lighter, liquid cooled...its just superior in every aspect... And dont forget sxr is made in india, sr is made in italy...huge quality difference....

My SXR is ordered, can't wait. Can you tell me for wich type of scooter you bought the Multivar? Is it the Vespa/Piaggio Iget 3V E4? I also emailed Malossi, they confirmed they are working on all the euro5 iget engines but no date when available for SXR.
Uf...i sold my own this weekend...its not worth it...i switched back to SR50. About Multivar...I used for Piaggio 4t engines...but in details there are no differences between 2t and 4t multivar kit. ..so it doesnt matter which one you order...you will only need to change roller weights...
And dont get me wrong...scooter is very atractive, comfortable and hi tech... But performace is very emberassing....no torque, no power, sleepy...in cold weather is just not what it should be...

Inside you'll get 6,2g roller weights which are too light...just change it to heavier...

Wenn die Außentemperatur unter Null oder irgendwo bis zu 2 Grad liegt, dann fällt es mir schwer, über 50km/h fahren...aber wie schwer und groß bist du?
@@JanezPrepadnik Bei mir ist das auch bei höheren Temperaturen der Fall. Mein Gewicht : 95kg , Größe :189cm
...und Bergab geht es auch keinen km mehr als 50km/h ;)

Use lighter roller weights like 7,2g and white spring...but you will loose top speed...to just 52km/h....

This is not posible... Only if you install 80cc kit and change ECM unit... But you cant get one right now...

I tried it on Aprilia SXR 50 and it didnt work properly...guess aprilia didnt use the same engine like its specified under specs...too bad... Now i'm selling this chip...

At this moment...you can change CVT... other parts are not ready for this engine...i installed Polini ECM and it doesnt work properly...

Overall its slow and its lacking power...there could be air intake, exhaust restriction, ecu unit restricted to 8k...and on and on...
Yes, me too, but i think mine is a little bit quicker when your starting from 0. But yours is faster, mine goes max 53-54 on a normal street
@@Twitch_RoG differences are so small between yours and mine...also ambient temperature can increase acceleration...but in the end, both of them are slow...
