Can you share what tires you run through those trails on and any suspension mods? I just started riding my 2022 DL 650 XT off road and am looking to upgrade to tires to Tractionator gps or big block but I will need to ride highway to get to my off road spots.

I hung the rear of my klx from an old swing and had my wife stabilize the front then used both hands on the rear shock to sdjust it

I’m a long time sport bike rider who has found the joy of dirt late in life (55 yrs. old). I currently ride a 2023 Honda Trail 125 and am looking to add a KLX or a CRF300l. I like them both! I’d probably save my pennies and upgrade the front & rear suspension, some hand guards, and a few other things. Thanks for the great review.

The 125cc and 200cc Suzuki Van Van weren't really built to handle such condition due to its wide tyre displacement. A Yamaha DX or DT...yes...thats different they have the clearance beneath the engine. A Van Van for beaches and dry level dirt tracks and road work. To really enjoy this type of off-road work...buy a scrambler...

the only reason im considering the dr650 over the strom is the weight, id rather lift 400lbs over 500lbs but ill probably go for the strom because of the creature comforts for highway driving

The greatest thing about the v-strom is that parts are very cheap if you drop it

airbox mod = sgtupid loud lost low end torque.

Ig you replace the final drive ratio to go 60 mph at 8,080 rpm you'll transform that bike it'll have great power and keep up with trafic on the highway going up hill. it's a cheap mod that works.
