Anyway back to recording machines, that mechanism is nice and solid and would make a good audio deck if the head bias is correct. " Techmoan " may be interested as he features all sorts of audio stuff. Message machines were a strange thing at first often I would hear breathing and background noise as they were waiting for the tone. I would make a message tape is such a way that callers thought I was on the line eventually I made a message saying I no longer collect messages please send a fax or call my private number which did not exist.
