I love this song so much, my bff, loved it too, every party we would go to i had to sing it. In Gloss and Babyjane's, Hamilton night-clubs in the 80's the DJ'S used to crazy as we always asked them to play it all the time.
Saw them at Leeds Uni supporting Feargal Sharkey in 86, been to about 100 gigs and they were the best support band I have ever seen, they got two encores and the crowd were baying for more, I had to ask people in the audience who they were and ended up buying their album and all the singles 7 and 12 inch, they should have been really successful !!, shame they didn't make it !!
Just played the full vinyl LP (which I bought for 27p in the great vinyl sell off). Both sides are terrific. It's awful to think they missed out, but they left us one masterpiece to remember them by.
In this video the drummer is stewart Anson, he's from cumbernauld. He joined the band just before the Feargal Sharkey tour. I think their original drummer was called Colin Auld.
Magic! Love this tune. In total agreement that they should have been MASSIVE. Everything I wanted to be is another dos tune. Love, love, love this band."..................❤
They had a great Glasgow 80's sound that Simple Minds,Altered Images,Hipsway etc had..I bought this album in west end records in Partick in 1986 i think and i've still got it...Loved it.
I didn't know who this was until I recently asked someone if they knew the bands name when i mentioned the lyrics. I was curious as it was regularly played in local club in Mossend, but never heard it played anywhere else. Can't believe they weren't more successful
Timeless Quality
This takes me back 37yrs ! Where has the time gone and I still listen to this amazing song ! Great Scottish band along with Hipsway 🎉 ❤
She ended up working in Hillhead Library in Glasgow. I say worked, she turned up! You little tinker, Sharon!

Great song that sounds like something that Belinda Carlisle,The Bangles,Altered Images or the Eurythmics would do!

Great song. Once took the album into local radio station who gave it lots of plays around 2003 or 2004. One of the few vinyls I kept.
Got the album on LP (yeah remember them) with some other gems from the 80's and early 90's . worth it's weight in gold to my ears
Saw them recently with The McCluskey brothers and Friends Again at Hamilton College - great night...
Soooo true
