Highland Cathedral one of my favourite drum and pipe tunes, reminded me of my grandfather home in Scotland,
Unforetunately they were forced to drop most of their old uniforms and marches by their Chinese masters, 2 years ago now.

Well I was there watching the performance. It was well received by the people of Nachang, China.The prtformance depicts our rich multi cultural heritage we have in Singapore. The sound of the band was superb, very professional. As years goes by I believe this band will become a world class Military Band in making. Well done SAF
沒有什麼比這些紅歌更可恥和欺騙的了。十送紅軍根本就沒有。當時共產黨是秘密、急急忙忙逃離贛南的，根本沒有告訴當地人，何來當地人十送？此歌原本是贛南民歌採茶調。1960年代被共產黨盜取改變歌詞和歌名，搖身一變成了子虛烏有的十送。
悲情没有出来
第二首歌是Bonnie Galloway，应该译成美丽的盖洛威

CaptainCool07 They adopted the uniform of the old Scottish Lowland regiments, trews instead of kilts. The old Gurkha regiments' Pipers also wore trews. I think the Hong Kong Police DO have their own tartan.

In face, the Hong Kong Police Band's colour is from Sir MacIntosh, who is, already mentioned by James, a lowland Scot. Wearing trousers is the tradition of the Lowlands.

@@jamesmurdoch9805 Agreed. The dressing code of the previous RHKP, now the HKP has the approval from British prior to 1997. Also the dressing of the RHKP (now HKP) and RHKAP (now HKAP) are slightly different.

I'd be surprised if they performed God save the Queen. It'd be great if they did though!

Jimmy Lau 點可以比。人地 Edinburgh Tattoo 係英軍主理，軍隊做 piper 同 drummer 呢個trade 係要上 course 考試，然後再睇經驗表現，最後再派返你做教官一段時間先會比你上位。反之，97年回歸之後再無英軍蘇格蘭兵團係香港教風笛鼓樂或交流平台之後，班本地人個個就各自為政，搞到而家香港玩風笛個班個個都話自己係師父，而本地班聽眾大部份亦唔識分咩叫好咩叫垃圾，淨係見到套制服夠威就一味話係好野，結果繼續助長呢班香港唯一全職吹風笛嘅警察老屎忽，而佢地亦不斷繼續周圍出去啲其他制服團體去教壞人地子孫，而當然呢班子孫亦繼續當呢啲警察輔警之類嘅導師係神咁拜，搞成個 故步自封嘅old boys club 咁，你話重點會有進步，個圈點得唔死，點可以同 Edinburgh Tattoo 比。呢個事實有好多係香港玩風笛玩得好啲同多年資嘅都知，不過有繼續玩個班唔多唔少都要繼續睇班警察band面色做人，因為個圈話晒都係細同埋佢係地係唯一全職所以人人當佢地係老大，而好多時大家亦要分表演job搵水，簡單地講唔比面就無水搵唔叫你，所以無人敢公開寫呢啲真話出黎。
