@@PhillGraaf thanks. Scopes are within line and nothing is blown, but yes - Aruba is very bright (high key) and extremely colorful. The camera shot is in front of the Samsung ARK, the drone is the DJI A2S, and the Raven Eye i use for wireless monitoring at the moment.

Hi, no. Only 4K 30P max. In essence this is the same GH4 sensor, but significantly increased in performance thanks to the new chipsets. If you need 4K 60P, you'll need to jump into the M4 or higher model.

@@babayevnariman I think you misunderstand. The Z Cam E2C is not capable of 4K 60P. The Ninja V, Ninja V+, and Ninja V Ultra are capable of recording 4K 60P ProRes, and ProRes Raw (and beyond those resolutions / frame rates). I already owned the Ninja V+ for other cameras, and simply attached it to the E2C to gain ProRes Raw. Without the Ninja V, you cannot record raw on the E2C.

Hey thanks. I've shot with it over a year in demanding scenarios with strong back lighting. To date ive only had it occur once and it was under strenuous conditions where the light hit the sensor just right. Otherwise I haven't seen it since. I would buy without concern.

Hello. Yes - DR boost is on for 5.8K 4:3 mode at 24P. For 4K 120P however (any slow motion depicted here) it cannot be turned on (limitation of the feature / sensor readout). With DR boost set to ON, the native / base ISO is 2000.

Hey thanks! Yeah its great. The file sizes are around ProRes HQ, so I wouldn't shoot this for everything, but it gives the most flexibility, and its certainly got a ton of "bite" in the image being 12-bit. The key is to grab Neat Video however since the raw image is not debayered, and does not have any noise reduction applied.

Hey thanks for the watch! So im not sure about the IPad, but yes, any MacBook Pro will recognize ProRes and they're shouldn't be a need to transcode, as ProRes is native to Mac. Regarding the Ninja V+, I cant recommend it more highly. Its a quintessential component of my kit. Not only is it great for monitoring, it opens up all sorts of additional recording capabilities. So if you can get one, pick one up - its a no brainer and it'll help you tremendously in the field.

Hey. Yes any raw format will be inherently noisier than internal (or external) compressed formats. Thats because with raw, the image is not debayered, and no image profiling (sharpening / noise reduction etc.) has been applied. With ProRes Raw, you'll want to apply Noise Reduction in post to your liking. Regarding my own sample here, yes some of its noisier than I'd prefer, but thats mainly because I was using a slower lens (F2.8) and operating at 4k 120P w/ 180 shutter angle (1/240) at I believe 3200 ISO. With a faster lens (F1.8) you could probably operate this at a lower ISO (2,000) and it'd look objectively better. Also, keep in mind FilmConvert grain was added ontop of this. If you're in the main GH group on FB, search my name (Kevin Luiz) and I have a post on the GH5S vs. GH6 in ProRes Raw comparing the two. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Hey David! Thanks for the watch. This was originally shot in 5.4K and then processed with Topaz Labs Video Enhance AI and their newly released Proteus Engine. It doesn't scale the image and sharpen, it looks at adjacent pixels through AI to understand the objects inside the image, and fills in the gaps via interpolation to build more "detail" that wasn't originally there. Thus we have a true 8K ProRes HQ image.

The frame rate was not altered in any way. The GH5S films at 2K Res 240 FPS VFR conformed to 24P normal frame rates in camera. I simply interpolated this to 8K and cleaned it up with Proteus. No frame rates were altered here. The clip was approximately 60 seconds and it took about an hour to process on a Radeon VII.
