Eating Bearded Dragon Lizard Eggs!
Просмотров 9 тыс.6 лет назад
*Disclaimer* No Baby Bearded Dragons were harmed in this video! These were UNFERTILIZED eggs. This is no different than eating chicken eggs from the store. Just a different egg source. I have little fear when it comes to trying different foods, so when our friend’s pet Bearded Dragon laid a clutch of UNFERTILIZED eggs, we took the opportunity to cook them up and see how they tasted! Check out t...

Turn on the water to blow the valve out? Messy. Plug the drains! They eat parts.
The new diverter should prevent water from coming out of the tap when the sprayer is used, but yours still has water coming out both. You may have a faulty diverter or it could be because you put the o-ring in last instead of first.
What do you suggest If a penny or a dime do not fit in to loosen it? Your tutorial was working great up until that point. I wasn't able to get it out but I tapped on it a few times and put it back together and it unstuck itself for now.
Can't you at least try to simply clean it off and put a little grease on it? It is a moving part, right?
Awesome explanation/demonstration for a first time video. Thoroughly explained and demonstrated our dilemma. Delta has been contacted and replacement part enroute. Thanks a bunch! 👌
When I try to remove the base/neck (whatever you call it) by turning left, it won't budget. I don't want to try plyers, as it would damage metal. Any suggestions?
You could try using a strap wrench.
@@sak116 Wish we had one of those. I might ask a neighbor, thanks.

You already removed the old valve.
Thank you! I've been without my sprayer for quite some time. I finally Googled enough to figure out the issue. The part came today (after Home Depot not having it in store Sunday night, and I ordered it from them), and another Google search led me to your video. Such a fast fix. Thank you again! Do you know how to fix my awful water pressure in my fridge's in-door water and ice dispenser?
Delta and other faucet manufactures have a lifetime replacement warranty on the faucets and the parts. Save your money and call the makers of your faucets. The hoses, diverters, faucets, sprayers, parts are all under warranty. I always call them when I need a replacement and they have sent items free.
My diverter piece is twisting but not coming up out of the housing. Anybody else had this issue?
My 7yo just looked me in the eye and asked "can we eat Bearded Dragon eggs" yes son and thanks for letting me know? Sustainable 🤣🤣
Love his adventurous spirit!
Right in the middle of making Xmas cookies the kitchen sink croaked. NO WATER except sprayer! Your video was an answer to my prayer. So simple & explicate, I am in your debt & you are in my prayers. I thank you for your help. Merry Christmas-Kathy
Thankyou! Perfect tutorial! It was so easy to follow, understand, and very helpful! Showing, speaking, while "doing" (said project) is the key to a great tutorial! Everything was spot on! I'll for sure keep watching/looking for helpful videos from you! P.s, the penny trick blew my mind!🤗 Never woulda thought, and have never seen that done before! Awesome! 👍
Your video really helped me fix this part In My dads’s kitchen sink; thank you for posting! I appreciate it!
Great vid! Thank you
Please make that sprayer not sprite.
I am sorry I'm going to try again in English. Isn't the faucet water supposed to turn off when you use the Sprite?
I'm currently doing this repair for leaking out the base of the spout. Video is a lifesaver because when the top of the diverter came out without the bottom, I was worried. I'll let you know about the flow stopping. Currently the main spout flow reduces when the sprayer is pushed on. So both flow at once. I'll let you know if that changes when I put it all back together. I am going to do the penny thing.
Is in the faucet water supposed to turn off food use this fire?
LANCE!
This is so awesome! Thank you for sharing your video! I recently got a bearded dragon who will be laying eggs soon and i was wondering about cooking and eating them 😂 glad I’m not the only one who considered doing it! An egg is an egg!!
Wow! As soon as my beardie started laying, this was one of my thoughts about the eggs, since people always say "they lay infertile like chickens." I don't think personally I would ever try it, but great that you experimented with it. It's a pretty gross thing in America, but in other parts of the world I'm sure this is pretty normal.
Diverter does not work correctly in this demo. When turn it on for sprayer the water should stop flowing from faucet.
Have Mercy !!!
Finally someone does a vid where sprayer works but not the faucet....great vid.
Just bought my house last week and now I think I need to do this. Thanks for the tutorial.
After seeing your video I didn't have any hesitancy. I sprang for a quarter since mine was not recessed. Mine was not a Delta and had two slots on the side of the diverter. I push the little plastic in. It seemed to open it up and I didn't spend the 15 bucks either. Thanks for your help.
Good video! But it's a reminder when disassembling something to lay the parts out in correct orientation, in the order in which they were removed.
Getting a different issue. I stalled the new diverter, and water still comes out of the sprayer and handle. The handle won't turn off.
The re-assembly in this video had an error. The washer should have been installed at the bottom of the diverter, not on top.
Thank you for this faucet repair video, it worked for me!
The video was very helpful. The only question was with the notched rubber gasket. The manufacturer instructions state that the gasket should be placed on the bottom lip of the diverter, not on the top after installation. During replacement, the original part had the gasket on the bottom lip of the diverter. I don't know that it would make a difference, but just an observation. Thanks for the great video on replacement.
You all can regenerate better now
Lance has never not played with the absolute best. And he always holds his own if not outright cuts heads. Here..Draw. Lol. Yes I know it's supposedly not a competition..But unless you actually play guitar...🤔
This was exactly what I needed, thank you. Throwing a comment and a like your way in appreciation.
My side sprayer was a pain, so I removed it and replaced it with a soap dispenser. Is it possible to leave the diverted out? It’s killing my water flow. Thanks!
Yes
Nice video - thanks for posting.
That how humans survived . Homo sapiens ate all what they can find, lizard eggs including:)) till this days tribes in jungles eat worms, frogs, lizards , eggs...
Thank you for posting this video! The issue with my kitchen sink was when I tried to use the sprayer no water would come out then when trying to use the hot or cold from the faucet it would make a loud rattling sound for a few seconds before the water would come out. I knew it had to be something loose or worn out after 20 years but couldn't figure out what. I called a plumber and he suggested it was my main pressure valve for the entire house that was faulty and it would cost hundreds of dollars to fix. So I looked to trusty youtube for some answers and found your video. What I ended up doing was just replacing the rubber washers on the diverter because the local hardware store didn't have that type of diverter which cost about 30 cents and it works great now! Thanks again!
Super! Glad this video was helpful for you. God bless!
Great video
how easy was it to unscrew the faucet?? mine seems difficult or hard to unscrew?
hopefully by now you got that spout cap unscrewed, but it shouldn't be super tight. wrap a small hand towel/rag around the cap and use channel lock pliers to loosen it. you may need a little stronger than normal grip because of the rag slipping on the cap. the actual spout just pops in and out. rock it gently back and forth as you pull up. the cap you actually unscrew just holds the spout down to keep it from popping out from water pressure. when you put the spout back in there is an O ring at the bottom of it and possibly 2 of them. make sure to wipe them clean and it's best to put some kind of lubricant on them that isn't damaging to rubber o-rings and gaskets.
The water from the faucet should have stopped when the diverter allowed water to the spray head. I suspect that the gasket should have provided a seal BELOW the diverter… If it works and doesn’t leak AND your wife is happy, don’t disassemble it :)
Yeah, thanks David. Others have made the same comment. I agree with the second part of your statement. It doesn't leak, she's happy, and I still have not made the change.
legendary content. thank u sir.
Thank you so much. This was exactly what I needed. I ended up calling Delta for the part because I couldn't get it locally and they sent it out for free. I also used your penny trick, which worked perfectly. Many thanks for taking the time to do this.
THANKS A MILLION FOR THE PENNY TIP--WOULDN`T HAVE THOUGHT OF IT ! WTG ;>))
There really is no limit to what we will do as a species. No boundaries and no principles. It's all just consumables. Saddens me.
The problen is that after replading the diverter when you turned the sprayer on, water came out of both nozz,e and sprayer. It is not supposed to do that.
Yes, the gasket goes in first, not last.
I suppose an egg is an egg! But this gave me such heebie jeebies lol Adventurous is right!
Great job! Thank you
Very unhealthy and dangerous.
Its not dangerous like at all as long as theyre cooked 💀
Thank you
A solution! Thank you I had the same issue
