NCHLT's 2024 Hand Dryer Retrospective (End of 2024 video)
A complete breakdown of all the interesting things that happened in 2024 in terms of hand dryers, this video ended up being a lot longer than I initially anticipated, and I ended up spending several days getting it done. I hope you guys enjoy the final product!

This KFC is franchised by Demipower, and this hand dryer was almost certainly installed by them, explaining the unusual dryer choice. However, the actual dryer itself is no different to what KFC normally install (Kangarillos). This is also my first video to be recorded in HDR. Unfortunately I don't know how to edit HDR videos yet, so please let me know in the comments whether I should downgrade...

14:14 I'm pretty sure the Talbot Green M&S had this toilet design, it opened in around 2004/5 but had Jet Towels instead of the dryer pictured. I've used an Ultronic at Monmouth services, but most of them have since been replaced with Pebbles.
The Jet towels were almost certainly added at a later date
@NCHLT I remember some 7th generation Jet Towels being there since at least 2010ish (the first Jet Towels I ever came across), the store had the "Your M&S" branding throughout that was used alongside the old logo until 2007, I'm not sure if that toilet design was from the 2000-04 era or 2004-07.
LE2020 was already a mess. Hopefully he will stop this year. A bigger youtuber copying small youtubers is too far.
I am very upset about the hand dryer community too. Its quite annoying on how it went from chill to a fucking disaster. The american dryer community was chaos. I am very curious about the canadian hand dryer community. 2024 was bad already with brainrot, ksi's new song, lunchly, content farm channels, tons of drama, clickbait frauds, and more. 2025 better be a good year or im gonna leave youtube forever.
They have the rare Dyson Airblade dB hand dryer in Black at Hampton Court Palace Cafe which I found a few months ago. I also stopped over in Singapore on my way to Perth, Australia and found some of the Stiebel Eltron hand dryers at their airport.

@ It could possibly be just out of service because are waiting for a spare part, as if they were modernising it, it would have been done by now, and if an imagine them not wanting a lift considering it’s got 4 floors.

I used a 9KJ for my first time ever today, it was a lot bigger than I anticipated it would be, as far as the sound it sounded very similar, the only noticeable difference is that it didn’t make a screeching sound upon shutdown, it’s possible that Welcomebreak got unlucky with their batch, I’m fairly sure that it’s the same motor as every other Dyson hand dryer (the Digital Motor V4) but it could be the V9 used in the SuperSonic and AirWrap, but given it’s size I highly doubt it, as I mentioned before it’s absolutely huge compared to the size you would expect it to be.
