It sounds difficult, but other options available are medications which can be prescribed to you but an ophthalmologist. If nothing works and the situation worsens then surgical options like vitrectomy are also available.

Yes you can fly to high altitude areas, in case you notice floaters or increase in number of floaters you can let your eye doctor know and they will guide you. Although cases of high altitude travel causing PVD to worsen are few. The cause of floaters appearing needs to be identified. If it is pathological, meaning that it is indicating signs of retinal detachment or a hole or tear in the retina then they reduce after treatment.
