Adding a complete KC lighting package to our 2024 Polaris Xpedition
We made the ultimate “wish list” to upgrade our lights after breaking in our Polaris Xpedition and seeing what additional lighting was needed. I cannot wait to get these wired up and post the follow up video as we have more off road adventures scheduled later this year.

Just got my box for my Gen 3. I’m using this video to help set up. 😎🛰️
Just got my box for my Gen 3!
Just got my box for my Gen 3!
Are the external ethernet ports shielded? Also if you run the case closed with dish outside are you fine for the heat buildup or do you still have the 2 hour max warning?
We carry shielded and unshielded cables. Just depends on what you prefer. The heat concerns are when the actual dish is inside the case. We have seen temps well below Starlinks recommended temps inside the case with just the router and power unit operating.
Definitely on my list of places to go. Looks amazing. I really like the xpedition , I would get the 2 door model . Currently running a can am defender which is a great machine also.
I'm curious, you think a 33/12.50 would rub on these machines?
The 10” wide 33” is rubbing on the front and I’m using a 1.5” spacer. We pulled the trigger on a long travel kit to solve that issue.
So they rub but you don’t know the true measurement of the tire??
Yes, the car is not at our shop right now so I can’t measure them. EFX web site says it measures a true 33” outside.
Do the 33’s measure a true 33 or are they smaller like most
Brilliant solution!
What is the actual measured height of the 33? Do they run true to size or run smaller like most tires?
What do you set your air pressure at for the trail? Riding in the rocks would be lower, so how low do you go?
Our race UTV runs 20 PSI. This Xpedition runs 12-15 depending on terrain we are in. We could go lower with the beadlock wheels but I’ve pinched tires in the past and feel like 12 gets a pretty close result without the risk of tire damage.
Where can order this?
www.SavageUTV.com
How do we get the item to install
www.SavageUTV.com Go to the off road products page then to the Xpedition page.
Just ordered, can’t wait!
Does the front scrub anywhere
Yes, we got a little rubbing on the front end when we started driving more aggressive. We ordered a long travel kit from Thumper Fab to fix the issue.
Another question, It looks like they are 33's, do they actually measure 33? Thanks
I’ve been asking the same question with no answer I’m assuming they haven’t measured and they don’t know.
How did you like the Motorally tires? I ride in AZ and trying to decide on the KM3 or Motorally. Thanks
They are great. I side walled a rock pretty good on this trip and the tire handled it no problem. We run the MotoRally on our Pro R as well. 35”
Nice to see you guys having fun! 😊 Look forward to seeing your upgrade videos! Nice rig Matt.
Cool👍😁🌈🍉🌴🌄🦵break ahh🦵🦜🦈
Damn vertical videos
Awesome product. Any concerns with over heating the router if it’s locked in the case while in use?
Thanks! We have had great success running our cases with the router inside. We do recommend using our thermal sensor if you are in warmer environments.
Do you know which case fits the original round starlink?
Unfortunately, we do not make a case for the original round dish.
hi do u sell the foam separately please? i have the case, starlink but now need the foam as the foam i have is stopping the lid from closing :(
Unfortunately, we do not sell the foam on its own.
@@savageutv ok what thickness is the foam? Im having issues closing my lid with my starlink in so thinking i need thinner foam
Does the new Gen 2 (actuator) dish fit in the “On the Go” case?
The new dish does not fit in this case but we are working on an updated design for that dish. Standby…
@@savageutv - thanks for the quick reply. I sent you an email as well from: Lhenry83…
Flight proof? As check-in luggage
We personally and our customers have checked these cases in many times for flights. 👍🏻
Did he leave the router in the box?
Where can I get them cable ports from with the split rubber plug?
Does the only gold melt that comes with the case have the ability to mount it to a small square roof rack bar? I have an off grid trailers expedition 2.0 and would love to be able to mount it to the roof I believe they are 1 inch crossbars.
We have a ton of mounting brackets at our shop and should be able to make one that fits your specific needs. Shoot me an email at savageutv@gmail.com and send me a pic of what you are wanting to mount it to.
@@savageutv I will reach out to you guys tomorrow with some pictures and info. Thanks for the response I appreciate it.
I bought the case for the in motion dish, and I'm very impressed with the quality. Everything is well thought out and accounted for. It's worth every penny for hunting trips.
would you be able to sell me 1 of these items for my mother home and post to the UK
Will a turbo r 4 belt fit?
Yes! The Turbo R belt fits.
can this be used in motion?
Yes, it just depends on how you are using the dish but it is possible and we do it all the time with no issue.
There should be an easy link in your videos that directs a person to purchase what was viewed.
That’s dope AF!!! BANG BANG ‼️
you can install the antenna inside the box it will work perfectly! I would also put a battery inside the box!
Want to drop us all a direct link and pin the comment broskies? Thanks and cool AF project you brought to life. Priced at a reasonable amount too.
nice case😊
@10:15 is that an EcoFlow Delta? I plan on running my Starlink off one just like you have here. But DC instead. Nice product!
Def is a an EcoFlow. Not sure on model. I ran my starlink off the little EcoFlow River v1 (288wh?) via ac and it did great for a good little while. Maybe 4-6 hours I think with some MacBook Pro charging thrown in there
What wire size do you recomend connecting on a rzr?
It depends on how long the wire is. Google “choosing the right wire size DC” and there is a great chart showing you how to select the correct gauge.
I've always wondered if the signal would work through the case lid.
Unfortunately, it does not work.
Do you have it with European 220 v connectors
you should add an ethernet port (ip65 rated) to the side of the case, so you can get wired connection from the unit inside the pelican if you leave it all latched inside. Also, if you leave the router inside and mount to the pelican lid, how is heat dissipation on the router?
We do offer the Ethernet port as an add on. We also offer a Wi-Fi thermal sensor that will alert you if the router is exceeding the recommended max temp from Starlink of 122F.
@@savageutv
@@savageutv awesome. I already placed an order earlier. I can add the port later myself. I can buy the part on mouser. Is the case in stock? I ordered overnight hoping it ships on Monday!
You guys are ninjas. Dead serious. Freakin love this thing.
Can I use this with 230v ac and/or 24v dc? What parts need to be replaced, if any?
This case is designed to work with the US version of Starlink. The electrical ports will not work if your system is running off of 230V AC or 24V DC.
Nice Job 😁
Another great solution! 😎🤘
Can you fit two belts in the box?
Yes, you can fit two belts.
@@savageutv awesome. Thank you
$400??? Dang. If someone is looking for a cheaper alternative, this one is $40. ruclips.net/video/A0LohI236zE/видео.html
