If you trying to kill mold. It’s not gonna work you would need to use SH. Just try test spot before you start and let the customer know in advance. What could happen. Most likely if it’s a good awning, it shouldn’t affect it at all. Also try to apply it evenly to help prevent streaks

@@Aqueminipressurewashing this awning is on a busy road no trees so I figured it would have minimal organic growth,and more dirt dust so I figured it might be best and safe to just downstream a degreaser and scrub with a brush then rinse . What do you think.

Remember you only cutting the strength of the SH. I just made 12.5% into 6.25%. Now in my bucket there is 2 gallons of SH at 6.25%. The only way I can cut that in half is to add 2 more gallons to it. That will give me SH at 3.125%. Don’t over think it. This is safe to use and it will save you money. You don’t have to be exactly you want someone to work and not damage anything.

amzn.to/400ckWS When doing a roof wash. Use a 5% to 6% SH in your mix. Use a 12 V pump to apply the mix. You cannot downstream or use a X- jet when applying. Make sure you wet everything before you start, doing and finishing. This mix can do some damage so be careful.

Do not adjust the pressure on your machine. I never do that. The way to do a job is GPM. I use a 4 GPM machine. The higher the GPM the faster you can go.

Whatever you are trying to clean starts to fade away or change color that’s when you can go ahead and start washing. The stronger the chemical the shorter time.

I learned if you cut the grass at 3 inches it works a lot better. That’s the sweet spot for my mower.

My machine is a 4 gallon a minute machine that is 4000 psi. PSI is not important. Concentrate on the gallons per minute. The higher, the GPM the faster you can go.

Yes sir I believe you are correct. I did the math for 10 gallons of SH into a 30 gallon tank and came up with 4.6875%. I like the way you calculated that but a lot of people just want to know the simplest way to get a good mixture of SH. Me personally I would get a proportioner to keep my SH strength to last longer if I have a tank that big. I don’t think I could use 30 gallons that fast.

@@Aqueminipressurewashing@Aqueminipressurewashing If you have a five-gallon bucket, plugin 5 if your using 10% sh plug in 10. Having the math makes it so you can figure it out without guessing. Once you know what it is for your batch size, just remember those numbers. Easy.

Agreed. But 98% of the time I use 12.5% because that’s the percentage that my supplier sells.

My down stream injector is a 2.1 rated at 3-5 GPM. This is the second one I have on my machine because the one came on the machine broke. I don’t over think things so if I need a stronger or weaker mix I mix it in my bucket. So I never change out my injector.

The 3% will work. I found out that it’s not to strong. I’m not big on ratios I just want to get the job done. With your machine it should be fine if the mix is stronger it will just work faster.

Then I would use 3 gallons of water to 1 gallon of SH. Make it a little stronger. Using a stronger mix only will kill everything off faster. Less dwell time.

You can wet the surface first. But you may want to downstream the area if it’s that big. Keep in mind that you are killing the organics the cleaning is still done by the pressure washer. If you don’t want it to sit that long use a stronger mix.

Sorry to hear that. I went to my local pressure washer supplier and picked out a 4GPM machine. I know that they can be expensive but I wanted something reliable. So if money is a factor check out the marketplace for a deal. Me personally I like machines with belt drive on it because they pull water. Any machine with a general pump should be good with or without the belt drive.

I will get one that matches your machine. So yes get one that matches your GPM. I tried a smaller GPM and the machine didn’t really like that.

I have to make time to edit my own videos. Sometimes it goes fast or it can take a few days. I don’t advertise that much because I can’t take on too many jobs. But if I like to increase my clients, I think the best thing to do is start a website for your customers to find you through Google. Look at it this way. If you’re looking for some type of service, restaurants or hotels where is the first place you would look? And always keep up with your customers and reach out to them every year.

Going door to door is the cheapest way. What you need to do is find a neighborhood that people take pride in their homes.

I use the customers water

I use house wash or concrete wash for my surfactant . But you can’t get away with using laundry detergent. Always mix your soap with your solution when you’re about to do the job. No matter what you use for soap or surfactant it will deteriorate the strength for the bleach.

The company I use doesn’t have a link to buy. I’m not sure if they even ship. Look up a pressure washing company in your area I’m pretty sure they should have something similar.
