Waiting on Gods timing | When you feel like giving up
Hey gorgeous, I hope today's video encourages you as you practice waiting on God's timing.
I get it - Sometimes the wait gets hard, we get tired, and it can be hard to keep going. Although I can't speed up time, I can remind you of the faithfulness of the One who's timing is Perfect.

I’m rolling cause I know it’s going to take me almost 2month to climb mine out.
🤍 So sorry to hear about your sister and your baby. I'm praying for you. Thank you for showing us your loc take down journey. So glad that you did not use the clippers. That looks like years of growth 🤍
Thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️
Your hilarious 😂
Youre so pretty ❤ i have been locked for 2 years and i want to comb them out. My fiance supports me. I feel like i need a new start im now 30 im pregnant with my 2nd child and im getting married now.
Wow, so many exciting things happening in your life! Blessings beautiful! I feel you on that - Fresh starts are necessary sometimes. And thanks so much for watching ♥️
Hi, how long did you have your locs?
Hi! It was about 3 years.
thanks for the video!! i’m so curious to know what your length was when you started?
Sorry I’m so late! My length was about 2in longer than shoulder length.
no worries, thank you! your hair is beautiful
I LOVE your videos. Thank you soooo much for inspiring me. Your hair is absolutely gorgeous 😍
You’re the sweetest! Thanks so much 😍
Love it
Sorry I’m so late! Thanks for watching. Appreciated 😍
Did you start your locs by the interlock method ?
Nope, palm roll.
@@Mrsbwhyte thank you!
Awesome amount of hair retention. You say you weren't taking care of your locks during a certain period but that retention in my mind doesn't show it. I've seen take out videos before and you shared hair is minimal.
Okay when I got to the end of the video and saw how much s*** hair you had Yeah that's normal. I was going by that little bit you showed in the beginning. 😂😂 Congrats.
😂😂 thank you!
Yaaassss sis!
Girlllllll why you in my business? I came here for the loc comb out video and ended up here and I’ve been CONVICTED !!! Lol thank you for blessing me ❤
😂🥰 thank you for watching sis!
Love the content
Thank you 💕
I just took out my locs after 6 years my hair was down to my back and I ended up with it at my shoulders and my hair isn’t as thick as yours I was it was it took me 7 days but I did cut some. Your hair is beautiful.
Wow, only 7 days?? That’s amazing! I’ve heard a lot of people lose a lot of length during this process. I’m sure it’s frustrating. 😩 And thank you beautiful, I really appreciate it. 💕
Hi, I'm asking for some help: I have long dreadlocks and when I tried to untangle them, the length of my hair reduced a lot and it became super short. How do I maintain the size?
I’m not sure, sorry. I’d ask a Loctitian for suggestions.
It took me a week to comb out 100 locs. My locs were shoulder length. I tried it with the conditioner, and my hair was breaking off a lot, so I combed them out dry. My locs were oily, so it was easier for me to comb out. And my length is good..
1 week?! That’s super impressive. 👏
Same here, I'm currently combing out mine and I prefer doing it dry.less breakage for me
@@Mrsbwhyte I was committed to pulling them out.
Wow so inspired by your testimony
Thank you 💕
Maybe I'll start a new business 😅😅😅
OH! My hair fell out in patches after o had my baby. Nothing that I or my stylist could do to moisturize it or retain it. I t got so bad that I had to wear wigs. It never really bounced back so I ended up chopping it. I’m loc’d now but I just found out I’m expecting. I immediately thought “thank God my hair isn’t loose”. I didn’t think about shedding being a problem 🥴
Congratulations 🎊🎈! And I’d keep taking those prenatals postpartum! I got lazy with mine and I’m pretty sure that contributed to it.
I been locked for 3 years and I’m not planning on taking mine out. I’m about to put microlocs in my daughters hair but I’m nervous about her wanting to take them out so I’m weighing the risk now 😂 I been looking at videos of people taking down tiny ones, but you are beautiful!
Great advice! Thanks for sharing 💕
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching 💜
Perfectly stated. Thanks so very much for sharing! 💕
You’re so welcome - glad it resonated with you! 💜

Congrats on your new beautiful baby girl ❤. And you are preaching a word !!
Thank you so much. ♥️
Thank you I needed to hear that right now❤❤❤
Girl, me too! It’s always a reminder to myself as well. Lol ♥️
Did you see a difference in how long it took to take out the last 1/3 after you drenched your locs with water, conditioned, and put them in a plastic shower cap?
I did, but I can’t remember the time difference. I know that i didn’t have to work as hard. The problem was that, I had to keep repeating that process because my hair dried before I could get to the next loc. so I’d reserve that process for the locs that were really challenging to take out.
This is so sweet. Love you guys😊❤
Thanks cuz. We love you too! ♥️♥️♥️
I see you!
Aaayyy, thanks cuz!
This is great stuff. Keep it coming!!
Thank you cuz! ♥️♥️
I love your delivery, makes it easy to digest. TY
Thank you aunty! I’m still practicing and growing in my gifts. But it’s always encouraging to hear this kind of feedback. ♥️
i just stumbled upon this video and i love it... you have a new subscriber ❤️❤️
Literally just made my day. ☺️ Thanks for watching and supporting. It means the world to me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Dear Cousin, you ministered to me ❤
Aww, that makes me so happy to hear. God bless cuz! ♥️
This is making want to take mine out I’ll be 2 yrs in 4 more months. I’m a cosmetologist and I just miss doing my hair/ curls. I colored mine a few times so I’m scared I won’t retain any length
I feel you on that. I haven’t done much with my hair since I’ve been a loose natural, but I LOVE having the option to. Lol. Fingers crossed you retain a lot of length. 🤞 ♥️
Do you regret combing them out ?
Nope, Not at all. I prefer being a loose natural right now. ☺️
“It was not handled” 😂 im still mid video, just thought that was hilarious
I really wasn’t prepared 😂
Glory to God 🙌🏽
All glory be to Him! 🙌🏾
Thanks for sharing your experience and tips. I'm reenergized to try combing out my lcos. I started a few years ago but it didnt work (I now realize I wasn't properly equipped).
You’ve got this! It’s a tiring process, but you can do it ♥️
I’m in the middle of taking mine down now and my thumbs are aching! I’m taking a break because they hurt so bad. Did your thumbs hurt during the take out process? If so, how long did the pain last and how did you handle it while continuing to comb out your locs?
Not so much my thumbs, but the palm of my hands cramped a lot. I only did a few locs at a time per day which is why it took me forever. And I didn’t touch my hair every day. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s any workaround except to take a break. 😩
Just cut em out and reattach it when you feel like it
Is that a leave in conditioner?
I used mostly regular conditioner. I might have put a leave-in conditioner in after I finished taking out my locs, but it’s been so long now that I don’t even remember. 😅
I knew once I loc'd my hair that I'd be loc'd for life. well sometimes I do miss my natural hair but what I don't miss is the time I wasted in trying to duplicate RUclips inspired styles and products that definitely did not work for me. I was thinking about cutting them off for a short style which also requires time that I just dont have right now. I was also thinking about starting over for a size slightly bigger since my perimeter doesn't appear to grow in my loc so in the back I have long thin locs and healthier fuller ones in the middle and front. I also think sister locs are adorable but If time barely permits for a retwist now, I know an appointment for sisterloc maintenance will be difficult. I'll be 4 years in January and I love this journey but sometimes, I miss the switch up. Different wigs, box braids and just the feeling of running my fingers through my hair.
I relate to this so much. I love the idea of sister locs but when I think about how long a retightening takes 🫠. And I do love the versatility of being a loose natural, but having locs will always have a place in my heart. No matter which one I choose, there’s work involved. I guess it’s just a matter of what works best in each season of life. Love the red in your hair btw! I’m such a scaredy cat when it comes to adding color. 😂
Heeeelp!! Started my comb out journey but I am stuck on the first lock at a huge knot that I can't seem to get past. Using conditioner and wet hair but I am not getting anywhere just ripping my hair. Any advice please before I just cut them all off 😭
Ughhh. The Knots are the worst 😩. Deep conditioning my locs helped me when I got stuck. I used my hood conditioner. Soaked my hair and let the conditioner sit in my hair with a shower cap on for hours. That helped me break through. Have you tried that?
How long did you have your locs for
About 4 years 💕
Amazing and ur hair looks great absolutely beautiful
Thank you so much 💕
Thank you for being so brave to speak your truth. 🙏
You’re welcome. And thanks so much for watching and commenting. I appreciate it 💕
So encouraged, am doing a big chop tomorrow and I wasnt sure how much length I can keep. I have had my locs for 15 years but post-partum shading is too real and I want to do sis locs instead...also thanks for this video!😊
I’m pregnant again and am already watching these edges 😩. But praying my experience will be different this time. So glad this video encouraged you and thanks so much for watching gorgeous! 💕
@@Mrsbwhyte thank you! And congratulations! 😊 them edges, is there something you are doing different to "protect" them?
