Sean did an AMA a couple months back and he said the track they play there is actually "Saw You", I'd give the timestamp where he says it but the video's 6 hours long and I don't want to have to go through it
Great music, not that I'm surprised as it's Autechre playing the tunes. They played some great music back then. A shame the video features 90% blokes though.

I wonder if the fellas ever took home any club lassies after these sets? I quite like the thought of Sean shuffling out with an SH-101 under one arm and a young waist under the other
Great set and everything but I bet nobody there knew what kind of amazing career they were witnessing in its early stages. I'd even wager there are a few that have never heard of Autechre even on that day. They just showed up, danced and went on their way and people now would kill to have been in their place.
Gotta Go and get me a time machine mate! This is one of those sets in which you don't really needed the eccies, its flawless eccies would hace been nice but damn! Early Autechre were sooo good!

whut s that, roland octapad (drumpad) ? what was their main sequencer back then ? (probably R8)

Hi guys! Does smb know what is the track id from 3:00 to 4:56?
flight deck - unreleased, but it will be soon
GREAT!!!!
Supposedly, you can hear the track "Autechre" at 13:04. They would later start using this as their band name, since they liked the name of it so much.

Update on this, Sean said in an ama that the track at 13:03 is in fact "Saw You"
even more update, the 16:48 track is actually saw you, the actual track just got posted to Sean's mastodon

I got told off for whistling once
Magic age, the 90s
Anyone able to identify the gear they’re using in this video? I see an SH-101 and that’s about it, could be an SH-2 as well.
Pretty sure it’s an SH-2
back when Ae made dance music
they still make dance music now....
@@maxway7465 nah
@@valium445 yes, Autechre themselves have said they still make dance music in interviews....

fucking shite
with the live at Brixton Quirky 1994, we have it all!
Better than a night out in Rochdale now lol
I must have listened to this 100 times. Where is part 1?
Soooo good. Cutting their own groove.
ah, pills made magic with this music, imo.
i prefer BOC, even though isn`t the same nowadalys and it won`t be nevermore
i pass of them many years ago, the first records and go.
but their lasts albums are no more than noise unpleasant to my ears, imo.
wish i was there
Whistle was ok for one track, otherwise ruining this archival electronic music footage. What a great year in music
lol I know some heads in there ..sad to say!!!!
Phaggut
One big waaaaaaave of hyper consciousness gargantua from Autchre's hideout faaaaaar faaaaaar beyond our Oort cloud........
What's the track list of the whistles. °Pure ecstacy to my Ears.
can sb. time-travel & invent explosive, cheap whistles & distribute them around the world in 1990?

Even Borat is there! 16:26 lol damn whistles
Play this set on any dance floor today, and it's still ahead of it's time.
absolutely
It's because so much of club music today is just the same overly loud song being played over and over again by every DJ
