The passenger front slides forward. The driver side wouldn’t make sense with steering wheel limiting the slide/fold function.

Relocating the upper arm with that mod works great. Glues the car to the road.

So what your sayin by stating that it has a DZ alternator is that a Dual Package ordered car in this case Z28/RS, Is a Z28 with a RS Trim/Interior/Hide Away package added. So only 302 4sp 12bolt drivetrain and handling package, Never Air, Never any other drive train options. That it wouldn't/couldn't be a RS 350 Turbo, W Air and a Z28 handling package. I was never sure what package dominated, as also with the RS/SS. In the sellers story, How do you go from being "King Of The Streets" to RnR a 307/350 2Brl Engine and sayin "GOOD Enough"? If that was the EGO message you n your car were puttin out, IT Never would have happened. It would have parked in 75 with a Windowed block before that RnR happened. I'd buy the car but he could keep the story.

Thanks I have seen three ways to do this and the fastest and easiest is just pull the gear box and get it off and back on I have done it three times and yours is by far the hardest fyi

Once you get it running right you are going to really enjoy driving it

You are going to want to relocate the AYC pump into the trunk it is currently located by the rear right tire and over time the pump will go bad from dirt and road salt

The tank in the back right corner is for the AYC pump which is basically the traction control

AWC you can select between tarmac gravel or snow

Yes it works! Notched it. Hammered with a chisel fell right off

Think id patch in the bed quick and get a plastic bed liner..maybe alloy checker plate for the top of bed. Powder coat mat black..if you get a belt sander with a fine paper you could make a patena paint job. Cool base colour. Pull the engine is easy and pull sump..could be simple as a stuck starter. Hard to break a chevy motor.. but pull motor new timming chain..etc etc. Keep it simple..it will look good. Nice truck. Good luck.

My clutch slave is leaking. I’m about to change it out next pay period. the clutch squeaks when I push it in and it’s got a really bad leak I keep having to fill my reservoir
