Don't look like 160 mph. This is a 430 with skids which i think has a vne of around 130 kts. Could be wrong though
Hi cmiller8006, thanks for watching! The VNE on the 430 is 150kts. The skid gear aircraft can cruise at over 140kts (160mph) but for reduced wear we cruise ours at 135kts. The wheeled aircraft cruise at 140kts at the same reduced power setting of around 80% mast torque. We promise not to post anything fake. 😁

Awesome touch down! I’ve been trying to land a bell 407 like this in Microsoft flight simulator, but it’s so hard to get it right using the collective, it’s always seems to come down nicely, then just above the ground it seems to all of a sudden drop out the sky. Is it something to do with the helicopters down wash?
Just takes a lot of practice! But MS Flight Simulator is definitely not the same as the real life version.
@@McMahonHeli yes I’ve already heard people say that there is an input delay when using the collective, so I’m guessing that’s half the problem.
