Walking tour of Tokyo: East Gardens of the Imperial Palace
The walk starts at the Hirakawa-mon Gate. I walk towards Tenshudai (Remains of the main tower) and from there I go towards the Fujimi-yagura, that is an old tower.
The walk continues around the remains of the old Edo Castle towards the Ōte-mon Gate. On the way I pass the Hyakunin Bansho Guardhouse and the Concentric Guardhouse (shown on the thumbnail).
I end the walk near the Sannomaru Shozokan (The National Museum of the Imperial Collections).

Walking tour of Tokyo: Kanda area, Akihabara to the Imperial Palace

I started the walk near the Kanda River, close to the Akihabara Station. From there walking along local residential streets mainly arrived to the Nihonbashi River, where you can see the Metropolitan Expressway inner circular route. They built this toll road over the river. From this, I followed the river for a bit and then arrived to the Imperial Palace by its Hirakawa-mon Gate.

This is a nice spot for a daily walk if you live around Brisbane. Located behind North Stradbroke Island, so the water is very calm. It was hard to squeeze this hike in since we had to head back to Seoul, but managed to get it done which I am very happy for. The hike started near Seoraksan Sinheungsa Temple at the parking area. As you go up you have a beautiful view of the gorge along the way up to Biryong Falls. You can also see a very cool looking pedestrian suspension bridge. This walk starts at Meriton Suites on Adelaide St. I walk to the river and check out Felon's under Story Bridge, a popular spot for locals. The walk continues along the river southbound. I go up on Elizabeth St and walk through the Cathedral of St Stephen's. There was a market set up in the garden by the cathedral. Our hotel was only a short walk away from this street. It is quite touristic but we enjoyed a lot. Lots of local eateries, shops and located conveniently for public transport as well. You have the famous Ddong cafe off this street and the most highly rated tea house too.

This is a short walk to the toilet museum not far from Seoul. We took a bus from Sadang Station that is south of the river. The trip does not take long and it drops you off near the 'museum'. When we went, unfortunately the indoor area was closed due to construction (typical)...

I was a bit negative about this but it turned out to be a great day trip from Seoul. This is the rail bike at the Gangchon Rail Park. It takes only around an hour to get here from Seoul. It is downhill all the way, so not much pedalling is required. It is a lot of fun for sure.

Seoul - Walk along a decommisioned elevated expressway

Cheonggyecheon is an almost 11km long stream and public space in the heart of Seoul. There used to be an elevated concrete expressway here, but as part of an urban renewal project, the expressway was demolished and this stream was restored in 2005. It is now a popular place amongst locals and tourists too.

I passed some key landmarks on the walk, including: Sungnyemun Gate, Namdaemun Market, Bank of Korea Money Museum, Lotte department store, walked a bit along the Cheonggyecheon canal, saw lots of local typical korean streets with food places, Tapgol Park, Ikseon-dong Hanok village and also touched Insadong

The walk started near the Myeongdong station and walked up north along the market street. This is a very busy shopping street. Usually in the afternoon small vendord swarm the place and you can eat all kinds of street food. A video about that will come out soon.

G'day mate! Geez those sidewalk @11:54 The government needs to build proper sidewalk ,pedestrians are at risk. Sidewalks provides many benefits including, safety, mobility and healthier communities etc. Nice walk in the sunny afternoon. Good work out I'd say. Feels like we're tagging along with you 😅. Thanks mate :) Yes, I agree. However, drivers in general drive quite slow thankfully . I think they have a 56kmh (35mph) speed limit across the whole island, plus slower in built-up areas.

Wow! Transcendently impressive! I never knew this beach ⛱️ existed. There is ample space for everyone to relax and enjoy. Great place to get away from the ruckus and rumpus of our daily lives. My warmest thanks!

Good thing about korean bbq is that you do the meat you prefer. I like it very well done, but can bbq it on the edge as well if you like it that way. Great way to have dinner with family/friends

If you watch the video you will see it is an extract from the video, so it is not fake. And I recorded it myself on the beach at Sinalei Reef resort. So not sure what is the problem here

Hi, It is on the main island (Upolu), opposite side to Apia, on the south coast in the middle rougly. The access road is between Sa'agafou and Saleilua. 2.2km from Sa'agafou. Queen Street Mall is so dead these days, it's no wonder big brands like Myer have left. Queen Street has really lost its charm to the big suburban Westfields. This will be such an embarrassment when the 2032 Olympics come here
Agree, and UpTown did not even manage to open for the Xmas shopping period. You would expect such a shopping mall to be open for xmas. But still, it is May 2024 and it is still closed. Don't even start me on the Olympics :D
@@TakingItEasyOutdoors its partially open but the myer part of the building is closed. Place is undergoing extensive renovation
I find it interesting that they pour so much money into this when it is quite obvious that most of the people are shopping online.
