what year is your RDX? I have a 2008 and my back seat can fold up differently and gives me more room...have you ever tried lifting the seat portion of the backseat before folding down the back part of the backseat?

Everybody has different ideas and styles, and I respect that. But for me, that setup is too much and too crowded. My car is mitsubishi RVR, and for car camping, more than a month, I keep the front seats, and 1 of the back passenger seats is free all the time. I have everything that you have, but in practical amount. Happy car camping ❤

I did this summer of 1969 in a new VW bug. I had a blanket and pillow. I also had “camping” gear that was mostly useless. Cold foods and water. Get a Nalgene gallon size Tritan jug. Very durable and leak proof. A simple box or shop bag holds food. The pillow case is a laundry bag! Anyway, the simpler the better! You don’t need much. Your suggestions are most welcome! Thanks!

Your 6 day hike has been incredible to watch. The scenery is just amazing. The silliness of you to is refreshing. I'm going to bed will continue watching tomorrow. In reference to what to call your series, maybe, Old Ladies Hiking the Sierra Nevadas. I will see this lake before I die.

You are so right about doing those things you really want when you can. I've done 2 trips solo with my tiny trailer, each over 3,000 miles, to visit places I couldn't stop thinking about. Worth every moment!

My sister and I experienced 'something ' on Merry-go-round mountain when we went there as kids on a camping trip. Our parents didn't seem to notice but there was definitely some type of 'energy' there that frightened both of us. We went back after we were adults but didn't get the same vibes then.

Cooking while camping is a rarity for me even though I have a little kitchen in my Scamp trailer. But this car camping kitchen looks well designed! Cooking is 'at home'. On the road I enjoy just eating cheeses, good bread, fruits and salads. Trying interesting restaurants is top priority😊

How about instead of all of us living in cars we vote for candidates that will stop corporations from buying houses then renting them out. It's pathetic how we all act like it's cute or fun to have to live in a car or even a tiny home. Tax the rich already.

I don't know I'm camping waiting for my apartment to turn over and it's very stressful working and I feel like I'm hiding and the campgrounds are full on the weekend and it's very stressful finding a place to park every night for being clean
