so lenme get this straight. a probably fully functional compressor is now sitting out in the weather degrading. IMO it should have been put in a building to protect it from the elements so it can be preserved in as good of a condition for as long as possible

You need to be really cautious about the heavy and thick toxic gasses that push up with the flooded water from the depths of such old mining system my friend. lots of people dying on spot because of these. its might be helpful to throw a torch or a lighter to see if the oxygen is present and the flame didn't go out in case of hitting the spot where these heavy gasses accumualed at. and the gasses might be flammable so its considerable to back up a little when testing it. we love you and want you to continue making content my man.
