Holo main here, yeah I kinda don't ever use abilities like Grapple, Stim, or Phase-- They're good and I respect a good pilot with them but like there's just something so fun about misdirecting a titan while whittling away at their health around cover and coming up with a new strategy to confuse them every turn. Stacking Novas and having a total of 12 pilots all fall to the ground after a titan eject is extremely fun.

I don’t get the tone hysteria. Tone is honestly easy to play against if they aren’t a tf2 god (which most tone players aren’t). Tones only source of measurable damage is the rockets. Literally just count the locks or simple look when the “enemy titan locking” text appears and pull up your shield for a quarter of a second when she shoots the rockets. The only titans that have a right to complain about tone are northstar and monarch, but tbh they shouldn’t be getting close to tone in the first place and should instead wait for an opening at long range. Even scorch beats tone imo. A good scorch can shoot thermite around the tone wall and force tone into the open or to run away. There are genuinely so many effective ways to counter tone.

I love the titanfall titans. I think they all flow together so nicely in combat. Even tone.

Grapple is better than stim, you can reach the same speed but you also can have vertical mobility with grapple, grappling a titan automatically embarks/climbs to it you can also grapple to other pilots. It is a must have in the map Rise since you need to go up to touch the corridors The only downside is the long cooldown but that could be negated with gun mods.

Ion is a female titan

I'm Monarch main I usually use arc rounds, energy field, superior chassis and with energy thief.These is a combo I use everytime it's the best and Monarch will always be my favorite titan 😊

I unironically use phase to give titans ptsd. it’s funny to see a titan, shoot em with an mgl while up close, phase right before they melee or shoot, and then reposition and use holo pilot nova boost until they rethink every phase pilot is a holo nova boost

You see, I used to HATE and think scorch is ass. Well, he is compared to other titans but I just had a thought “what if I main scorch and become the flame lord too!” And I realized that I could use thermal shield as a damage source, spammed it, learned how to trap enemies, and wowza! Now I evolved to a G7.2 scorch main in just 6 months!

ion is amazing against people who completely forget what vortex shield does (for some reason this number of people is high)

I use A-wall mainly to melt Titans with SMR and AT weapons. Makes you feel like David versus many Goliaths

The only thing i can talk shit about in titanfall 2 is that there rly isnt a lot of content. Ridiculous amount of weapons compared to bf or cod. 7 titans, good variety for release but i feel like i want atleast another 2 or 3 titans. Pilot selection is good but again maybe 1 or 2 more pilots would be awesome. My point is as good as the gameplay in tf2 is you gotta admit that it gets boring after you unlock everything, played with everything. Respawn had lots of opportunities to add new content for these past 8 years.

The problem with phase is that to an observant pilot, you're just another pilot, especially to one more maneuverable

I’m so much better as a pilot than titan so ronin is perfect for me, dominate as a pilot and then when my titan is ready call it and suicide push a titan, get a titan kill and eject, then return to pilot gameplay

Tone requires accuracy. If there is an experienced Tone main, they can lock down a range as far as NorthStar and at times be a direct counter to NorthStar. If you place your wall you can time it with smokes and cover an area twice as long. A veteran Tone can take a 1v2,1v3 and i've even witnessed tones 1v4 in the right situations due to its tracking dart that allows them to practically non stop volley rockets.

Just had this happen to me completely on accident. Was standing on the platform where the grunts come in and it went dark, then I was behind the dome.

I play northstar and imo i believe with at least 1 or 2 other titans is when shes best, i normally spawn her late and anyone that tries to rush our team gets melted immediately so u could technically call her somewhat of a support titan including her snare ability

I think A wall being F tier is a little harsh, but as an A wall (I hate the spitfire btw and prefer the double take or kraber) main it is undeniable that at first glance it seems best to just camp in one location the whole game, but where it really shines is as a bullet sponge! just pop it down if you're losing a fight and bam! turn the fight around instantly, in hindsight that sounds very annoying to fight but oh well, just don't camp and say A wall is bad or I will find you.

One of the only bad things about Titanfall 2 is that there is no local co-op

I mostly use a-wall for anti-titan warfare, but once I'm done or need to reposition, I don't hesitate to leave the wall behind

Technically using the vortex shield means that the enemy shot them selves and u also could’ve used the grenade cause you wouldn’t have killed them the grenade would’ve

Honestly it can be like this: A Wall - if you accidentally bought a wrong game but dont want to lose the money, so you just sit behind this shield and thats it, "fun" Cloak - depends on wether or not you're idiot Everything else - great

technically if you lower the bosses health enough, and then let bt finish it off, you didn’t kill it. So it would technically be a true pacifist run. (except viper ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ what to do there)

I know this is a fairly old video by now, but as a cloak main I can definitely agree with the placement you gave it, it just lacks heavily for pilot vs. pilot combat, so it’s best used if you have the skill to balance out that lack of power
