My grandpa was born in France from polish parents, his first language was polish but after he went to French school so he had to speaks French instead. But he still use polish sometimes, we always speaks in French . I never been to Poland, I have heard a lot of wonderful things about Poland from friends and family who travelled there. I hope someday to visit. I think I will take step little by little as it’s a very difficult language for me even on Duolingo I have trouble to understand. I used to study Chinese, Korean and speak those languages as well. Polish will be a challenge ^^ Thank you for this first introduction to polish ^^

We have this international friend group and one of my closest friends in it is from Poland. I just want to learn Polish so I can prove her wrong in her mother tongue. Also, Polish women are just heaven-sent. If Polish is the language up in heaven, might as well give it a shot.

Ja bym powiedział, że "dzielić się" należy do tej drugiej kategorii. Przede wszystkim, przedmiotem dzielenia się jest to, czym się dzielimy, a nie my sami, a poza tym, niektórymi rzeczami dzielimy się wcale nie doprowadzając do ich fizycznego podziału -- np. możemy się z kimś podzielić swoimi notatkami, pomysłami, itp. Mam wrażenie, że "dzielić się" pasuje do pierwszej kategorii w bardzo ograniczonej liczbie wypadków -- mnie właściwie przychodzi do głowy tylko jeden: rozmnażanie się komórek biologicznych :D. Komórki rozmnażają się przez podział. Podczas rozmnażania komórki się dzielą. A poza tym, miło się słuchało :).

I just discovered your channel today , liked and subscribed after seeing this video. Here's why : perfectly good balance of clear English and Polish + good pacing. I realize there's different school of thoughts on the topic but I will never agree that an efficient way to teach a foreign language is to use the bare minimum of English (if that's the common medium) for 'immersion' . In my experience , it's usually an excuse the teacher is making up to cover their own poor command of said medium ( even if they have excellent mastery of the target language). As a student, esp. a new one, its extremely important to even be able to grasp concepts like those- especially if coming from non-slavic language base. Impossible to get there is the teacher is mostly just using the target language. Its also great that you add conjugations and tips on screen, translated subtitles and so on as you explain the concepts. The only con of the channel is when I saw "Polish with blondes" i thought it was going to be more of a "Hooters" type of language learning experience , but its better you kept it professional, I'm less distracted that way. (Just kidding of course :) ) Keep up the good work!

My family is Polish. As a kid I asked my grandparents if they would teach me Polish as they both spoke it, and taught me a few words but not much. Also my father can speak it but never does. I want to learn it to honor my family. Also it's a beautiful sounding language and I'd love to learn it even without the family connection.

Both of my grandparents were Polish immigrants to the United States. My father sent me and my siblings to a Polish church, and a Saturday Polish School. I know some rudiments of Polish, but I am not fluent. So, trying to accomplish more Polish. I visited Poland once, and would like to return. I enjoyed this presentation.😅

So verbs are sometimes skipped and articles (a, an, the) are not used?

My friend is polish and acts like I’m all pretentious when I try to sing polish songs (that he recommended to me!) at him so I’m learning out of spite. I’ll show him. (He also showed what a cool language it is so that too) 😭😭
