Today, 2 Electroliners ventured out onto the 247, one being an LV73 from the 86 batch (the one I got) and a brand new Vision zero Electroliner, destined for the 242 (82051). Icl, this suits the 247 so much and will be the future allocation of the route, so enjoy. Copyright GEORGE on buses 2024.

Not too long ago now, stagecoach rolled out almost all of their destined electroliners on the 86. Most of the Enviro 400s from NS are currently sitting in LI, however a few went down to PD to see out the last of the Scania Omnicity, and one went to BK coz why not…. A few days ago, stagecoach rolled out their new Volvo BZL Electrics on route 276. These buses are actually really nice and quite fast. I'm excited ti see more of these across the streets. It’s nice to see newer and more efficient buses in London but I enjoyed the e400s and 200s, MMC and Classics respectively

The only downside is that the engine start / off sound is that it's from the Db300 variant of the gemini 2 and the back doors r rlly quiet otherthan that everything is perfect

Can't believe its been 5 years since routes like the 4, 40, 45, 171 and 242 were all rerouted, cutback or messed about twice in a row for no reason. The 242 is ruined and I am surprised it is still in service, wouldve thought they would try and get rid of it again like they are rumoured to be doing to both the 45 and 414 now.
242 was meant to be withdrawn and replaced by the 135, so I am also surprised it’s still going
