I was pleasantly surprised on my return visit to Hawaii in November 2010. Much had changed on the Island since my first visit 20 years ago. The one thing that remained constant was KAP whom I encountered again at the Polynesian Cultural Center. I knew instantly that this was the same person whom I had seen on my first visit. And it was reassuring to know that he was still entertaining Audiences...

The camera rested on my arm during the performance; and so I was not able to use the viewfinder. Even during those times during the video when Steve is not in frame, the power and the passion of his performance comes through vividly.
