is there a way to do this with Midi information to send to an exernal synth? like a td-3?

Dude...dropping a send on an FX chain to another FX chain on the same track is brillaint! You're always making me ask "Why didn't I think of that?!". These kinds of things are what make Renoise so powerful and underrated.

Great tutorial, for the volume and velocity part it is not the same, the velocity is how har/soft the instrument is played, for example a piano depending on how hard you press the keys, usually in digital music it's the instrument that have to support velocity, for example kontakt libraries wich are usually made of recordings on multiple velocity, but sometime the DAW just map the velocity to just volume (usually in synth like serum if the preset is not made with velo in mind)

Wow, that randomized sample playback is something I had no idea about. I'm no Renoise expert but I've been using it for a few years and I'm always impressed by how feature-rich it is. It's always fun to play with, especially compared to typical DAWs. Very inspirational.

I set up sidechain this way and it works creating a pumping effect, but there's an unwanted click at the start of the compressor being triggered, why could that be, any suggestions? thx

My mixer does not look like this at all, and even though I followed the steps all the way up to loading an instrument, I can't get it to work. Nothing happens. Are you using some plugin for the mixer that allows this? Also, what was the key command for creating the doofer? :D

you didn't explain how to change the volume on a volume command, im stuck on it

at 20:50 - How did you insert so many to quickly? I am dragging each sample over from the sample window into the Track but you seem to be pasting them? i cant figure out how to copy paste them

I'm a bit confused though, why don't your multisamples peak? I have to turn down the volume of the samples or they add together and become real loud. I did look at the top of your screen, and despite your rather demure colorscheme, I think you did not have the 'auto limiter' button on.
