Crosman 1322 Project Pt 4 - Stuffed Piston
Просмотров 27 тыс.7 лет назад
Part 4 of my Crosman 1322 modification series. This episode covers modifying the piston and valve tip. I'll be stuffing the piston and modifying the valve tip to increase air pressure in the valve beyond what factory can produce. Chrono strings between steps to show improvements as I progress the modification.

Hunting Preparation With My Marauder .25
Просмотров 11 тыс.8 лет назад
In this video I'm doing a little practice for hunting season by shooting a 32 shot group on paper, 32 shots at paint balls and 32 shots at 1.5in spinner, all at 50 yards. My heart rate is up to 100bpm to simulate hiking through brush and snow. I also take shots as soon as I think I have it lined up instead of taking my time. Crosman 1322 Project pt 1 - Baseline & Plinking
Просмотров 30 тыс.8 лет назад
Part 1 of Crosman 1322 modification series. Bought myself a Crosman 1322 and decided to start working on it. This is the first installment of a series I have planned to document my modding progress. In the video I do some initial testing to get a baseline to compare mod improvements to. The plan is to get this gun to between 12 and 15fpe while keeping it as short as possible. Currently it is pr...

Ruger Impact 22
Просмотров 26 тыс.8 лет назад
Testing out my neighbor's Ruger Impact .22. My neighbor bought this rifle and couldn't get it to shoot accurately. Before I got my hands on it a friend of hers took it to "make it work" and it came back with damage to the stock. This particular rifle is also under performing to the tune of 250fps below advertised lead pellet velocities and doesn't like the Crosman pellets I had available. Owner...

Umarex APX Test
Просмотров 51 тыс.9 лет назад
Testing of a refurbished Umarex APX .177 air rifle. This is a starter level multi-pump pneumatic suitable for plinking and informal target shooting. The two examples of this rifle I own produced 5 fpe at the muzzle.
i found my rifle after a year or two with gasw still pumped in it, seems to shoot fine but do yall think it couldve degraded the fps?
Looks like a waste of time/money….honestly
Weather affects CO2 guns, it doesn't affect pneumatic air guns
You mean backyard stinker . . . Quilling paper targets in shooting little metal targets in your backyard . . . Isn't worth the price of the air gun . . . Go out and spend all that money on air guns just to waste it shooting paper and little metal targets in your backyard . . . That might be good if you're a 7-year-old kid . . . But why would a grown man buy an air gun just to kill paper and little targets in his backyard . . . That's what I used to do when I was a kid . . . But I grew up and learn how to shoot other stuff and shoot stuff that I can actually get a meal out of . . . I don't buy any gun or ammo or modifications just to shoot paper and little metal targets in the backyard . . . I'll leave that for kids to do with their air guns . . . And people need to learn just because somebody else has skills Anne has an accurate gun . . . That has nothing to do with your skill level or your accuracy in your gun . . . And it doesn't matter if you had the same gun they have and you don't know their skill set so all this has nothing to do with you or your gun or your skills or your guns accuracy . . . The best way to learn your skills and your guns accuracy is to shoot for yourself . . . And quit watching these paper killer backyard plinker stinkers they try to show they have any skills with an air gun . . . I don't care and it does nothing for me just because some grown man can shoot a piece of paper . . . If I couldn't shoot nothing but paper and non-moving targets in my backyard . . . I wouldn't even waste the money buying it air gun . . Much less all that extra modification and oversized scopes for what just to shoot paper and not moving targets in your backyard . . Hahaha 😂😂😂
I definitely need to give the trigger polish a try! Anybody knows why the 1377 trigger is so much heavier than the 2240? Is mine just bad or that's because the hammer spring is stiffer
This defetively sounds like too much work for the gains in my personal opinion bit it was a pretty interesting experiment!
With my plunger mid. I can do what 10 pumps does at 4-5 pumps
What mod, can you explain ? Ty
I also flatten the rubber cup flat with RTV. To get more air pressure. Along with flattening the nipple on valve. Big difference!

Is it a smooth bore?
I had the same problem with the crossman. I spayed CLP in the can of pellets. Much better groups
This rifle needs a break-in.. So if you haven't put at least 250 rounds through it you really can't judge it properly.
YUT
I have never seen so much incorrect information collected into one place ever before! YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING! Many of your statements are completely WRONG!
I have one. It’s a very good rifle. The trigger is a little stiff but it does have a good piston seal in it so the power is consistent. Lotta people don’t realize whether power is in consistent.
Hi what was your hammer spring set at my Cayden is set at 6.5 turns cow preload from full cow. When new it was at 1.5 turns in so my spring took a set after about 80 shots but consistent now for full power and velocity my tume is 6.6 turns in
why do youtubers think someone wants to look at their ugly mug?
in the UK if you go 20-25 pumps you commit a crime and you could go to jail for years !
Your Hammer SPring is to strong. Stop screwing with that TP Port adjuster and cut 3 or 4 coils off that hammer spring. Only cut off one coil at a time and then test until you get it correct. That knob is causing more problems than it solves. After your get the hammer spring and PSI correct for a good bell curve then you can use the TP Port adjuster knob to slow the FPS down of fine tune.
My .22 AKela was shooting over 1030 FPS. So I cut off about 4 coils off the hammer spring to slow it down. I still have it on full power on the transfer port and I also have all the adjustment left if i want to turn the hammer spring adjuster up higher. That hammer spring is just too strong. Below is my String I shot over the Chrony. I may do another string with the cut hammer spring turned up a few turns to see how it does. If I do I will post the string here. Just be careful, b4 long u are gonna find the "weak link" in the chain and have a failure. Obviously Crosman didnt intend this gun to do these numbers....ok.....that said ....freaking rock on man! I'm thinking about the 1377 personally. Ive got like 4000 Premier Hollow Points In .177 plus another 1000 in my case. I just killed a Gamo Shadow Wisper break barrel and that was my only .177. Id like to get/modify an air venturi avenger in said cal. But ....the $ tree has died
Great review, excellent attention to detail. Cant wait to get mine
The guy that was getting 880 fps was at 50 pumps . He also had a longer barrel . He was a machinist too . So he modified some of the parts he bought too. .He also made the pump handle bigger to give him more leverage .
There is a guy on Ebay that sales a kit to bring that gun up to about 880 fps, in .22 cal.
Hi , could you say who?? Thanks.
I wonder if a cotton gun cleaning swab with rubbing compound or jewelers rouge would work better to polish the tube.
Best review that I have seen. I got m Akela for Christmas, sighted in my scope from inside my house ,to famed cold to shoot outside.
what about the TP mod
that sight covers up you drill it
front bead covers it up!!! in know how particular you youtube fucks are
Hello, do u know if it can get tuned to more Joule? Thx.
Very good review pal ty..😎❤
We scope you have on it now:)
Хорошая пушка для отстрела грызунов
Would you put wood grips and wood pump handles on your 1322? Thanks 👍🏻
Squirrel Bullet Proof !!!! HaHaHa
I only have 20 yards MAX to shoot. These mods are WAAAAY beyond my world ! but still exciting
Hay Bill it's been along time! I hope you are well. Looking forward to the follow up video.
Let me know if you find an aftermarket, better pump arm ! Please !
Did you have a problem with the pellet getting stuck on the breech screw hole ? I just installed a steel breech. It is a Nightmare getting the pellet into the barrel !
The key to getting good strings on the Akela is to use 18gr pellets. 14 is too light you just waste air.
HOLA DESDE CHILE BUENO EL VIDEO
Está muy baja ,la velocidad !! Y encima salen los tiros muy dispersados !! Pensé que era más potente !! Me defraudó el RUJER !! NO SI ESQUE ESTA EL MUELLE GASTADO !! PERO CON BALINES DE 14.3 GREINS TENDRÍA QUE HACER 700 FPS DE MEDIA !! UN SALUDO !!
I got my Benjamin Alela. What a joke. Can’t even use it because it won’t hold air. Far as I’m concerned its a piece of junk.
Nice job
Do you think that Benjamin Aquila is better than the hatsun flash bullpup cuz I'm debating on which one of the two to get the flash in synthetic
I’m debating Walter reign or the Akela
The Akela is better than both, i own all 3 and the Akela out performs them both
@@jackrusselloutdoors8307 how far out are you shooting the akela? Ever try slugs with it
@@tylerburnham17 I was shooting it out to 79 yds that's as far as I can go to the treeline on my property and knocking off rats, squirrels and other small critters with ease. BUT!! I have to send it back to the factory for a replacement now due to both Orings on the barrel in the breach falling apart and a air leak. So it'll be 4 weeks before I see a new one
@@jodyhiatt5284 I HAVE THE WALTHER REIGN IN .25 CAL AND NOW I GOT THE AKELA IN .22 CAL. BOTH ARE GREAT GUNS BUT I WISH THE AKELA MAKE .25 CAL. BOTH ARE ACCURATE BUT WITH THE WALTHER YOU MEED TO FIND THE SWEET SPOT YOU WILL NEED A CHRONO. MINE IS BETWEEN 140BARS AND 160BARS TWO FULL MAGS WITH NO ISSUES AT AN AVERAGE OF 850 FPS WITH THE 24.39 GRAIN.
I have the Rugar Impact Max Elite and it does much better than the gun you are using
My favorite gun
que presio tiene me parese el medelo ingnovador
what size is the tank on the gun?
asking to see if it is hand pump friendly
It has a 280cc cylinder at a 3000psi fill. I also fill with a hand pump.
The instruction booklet says you're not supposed to use the front site as a handle for cocking the gun. I noticed he did that. I've heard of them breaking. That might have something to do with the poor groups.
