If you are paying for bulletin board paper yourself (I do), I started using plastic table cloths. Less than a dollar and I don’t care if they get damaged.
So you aren’t gonna use your Secret Stories anymore? Did you find it was useful for the students?
Yes I will using them this year. I was torn between leaving them there and putting the sound wall above the board simply because our district is moving to only using the Science of Reading and it would be more visible to the kids in the front of the room. I’ll try to explain it more in my next video

Hi new subcriber! I am excited to get in my classroom. I will be at a new school and district this year so lots to do! I am in TX and school hasn't opened yet for teachers.

@LivingAsLisha Since I am new I start July 24. All the other teachers start Aug 1. Students start Aug 12.

@LivingAsLisha I am from GA I remember starting school at the beginning of Aug all the time lol. I have been in TX 5 years. When I started teaching was after the pandemic and the 20-22 they had us on a year round schedule where we went to school aug-june (to help students catch up). This is our first full summer!

Hi Lisha. Do you have a TPT for your slides ?
I will have to look and see which slides I used from TpT. My district provided us with premade presentations for phonics, literacy and math so the only TPT slides are my morning meeting and transitions/center rotations. I will try to link them in upcoming videos this year. I know for sure I will be using slides from Mayleen Call’s bundle. I’ve had it for three or four years.
