By far the best console.

Another fighting series I really enjoy is Injustice based on DC Comics. Also developed by Netherrealm studios who also did mortal kombat. It’s a shame they never made a 3rd game but the 2 games are amazing I think!

Fun Fact: bust a groove is a game I love on PS1 because the music and characters are amazing but I absolutely suck at the game unfortunately. The controls are so confusing and my older siblings were all so good at the game but not me sadly. I was extremely jealous of them as a kid.

I love Tekken! One of my favourite video game series ever! The third game is absolutely amazing I think. I never cared too much for the first 2 games but I’m glad the second game is available to purchase on the PS4 and PS5 and not locked behind PlayStation Plus anymore now either! I might have to give the first game another chance someday however.

I was actually doing down research earlier and apparently hot shots golf is actually called everybody’s golf in Australia. Apparently it was a whole series of games with about 8 all up roughly so that’s very interesting I think. It’s currently available on the PS4 and PS5 online stores as well so I might consider buying it soon.

I love MediEvil! One of the most underrated PlayStation franchises ever! I own the original, psp resurrection, the ps4 remake all on PS5 as well as the second game physically on PS1. I’ve heard rumours they might remake the second game for modern consoles even though the first game didn’t sell all that well in 2019. Fingers crossed!

In general - great content, i do not see any "outstading behaviour (?)" if you know what i mean from biggest gaming channels :D doing great job man, keep it up! for me that channel should skyrocket! Also, where the f is rayman ?! haha

Also if you had to pick one Rayman game on this list which would it be and why? The PS1 port of Rayman 2 the great escape is fascinating I think!

You know it’s actually interesting, I got this game off eBay earlier today and it came with a pamphlet slip for another game that came out on PS2 called extermination. Does that game sound familiar to you at all by the offer chance? I looked it up online and it’s a horror survival game similar to resident evil. I might have to consider buying that one too.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to play this game at all. It’s not available on the PS3, PS4, or even PS5 online store and if I wanted to buy it off eBay I would have to get it overseas and it would cost up to $200 at most roughly. I’m in Australia so the currency exchange difference is massive.

People...stop saying that there is nothing wrong with digital games. Everything is wrong with the trend. You are only leasing a license for the game you are purchasing digitally. You do not own the game!!! Younger people these days do not understand that they are paying 69$-79€ to only lease a digital license whereas if you buy the game physically you OWN it.

It definitely looks like an interesting and decent game overall. I’m guessing it doesn’t have a sequel overall maybe at all? By the off chance.

Sadly resident evil director’s cut isn’t available to purchase separately on PS5. Only when you subscribe to PlayStation Plus unfortunately. It’s the same thing with Dino Crisis. It’s so annoying I think. Oddly enough, both of them are games made by Capcom so it’s definitely a coincidence I think. It used to be like that with Tekken 2 but they did eventually make it available to purchase separately after it released on the console.

Pretty solid list overall. I didn’t even realise Legend of Dragoon was even on PS5 so I’ll be sure to check it out soon enough.

It reminds me of Rogue Squadron but in a first person view ? Sorry to nitpick but that didn't make any sense to me. Roque Squadron had a cockpit (first person) view already. L button. And Colony Wars 3 (in fact every CW game had) also had a third person view. You just pressed L2+R2 together.

You've gotten much farther than I ever did! It's an odd title that also took me forever to buy after playing the demo back in the day. I've actually forgotten where I got stuck on my last session. It's a decent challenge with plenty of gameplay, and I'd say it's worth it if you find it for a reasonable price.

I never knew about this one and I'm an 80's kid. Had Flashback on PC back in the 90's and now have it on Steam. There is an official sequel... Flashback 2 (generic title, if you ask me) that came out Oct 9th 2023. From what I've seen and heard, the official Flashback 2... still has quite a few bugs, that need to be fixed. It also completely ignores the existence of Fade To Black. Great review man, keep up the amazing work!

I managed to snag a copy of eBay! Unfortunately I had to pay a very hefty price for it given how rare it is and it was also brand new. I’m looking forward to jumping into it soon hopefully.

Just bought a Xbox 360 copy today for 23 Euro's. I was alerted by Cex that they had an incoming exemplar. Probably a demo copy, with a white diagonal band, and a "not for resale", but I don't care as long as the disc is okay. Xbox 360 and PS3 prices are skyrocketing right now! The (relatively) high price is an incentive to play it rightaway once the game is delivered. Judging from gameplay videos, reviews and comments this seems like a hidden gem. It would be great to see a remaster eventually.

These are great choices for those exploring the PS1. I also recommend the Tomb Raider series, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 and NFL Blitz. Those games can usually be found at $20 or less. Other games that are commonly $20 or less include the Final Fantasy series and Gran Turismo. Both of these were a big deal on the PS1.
