DIAMOND EARRING .50 Carat Diamond 18 KARAT GOLD FOUND FIRST SIGNAL
It was a long time without metal detecting and after I’ve done assembling my newly bought sand scoop I headed to the beach and tried hunting on a low tide. I started searching on water and when I was on the waist deep I got a low tone and after scooping twice, I got a yellow with ice in my scoop. After a few seconds, I got an iron signal so I set my Excalibur to all metal mode and found 1-piso coin. 3rd signal was a pull tab but I heard a low battery tone. After picking up the pull tab my detector gone crazy as battery was going flat. I went home and was hoping that my other battery was good but booth batteries were confirmed flat. How did you attach the new speakers ? Did you glue them ? And..did you put silicone or something in them ? Do they need to be waterproof ?

Please, could you explain a bit more in detail...what kind of glue did you use ? Did you cover them entirely in glue ? I have just received mine and really want to try this :-)

so four years gone by, are they still working , they hurt your ears , is that because of the sound or the tight fit on your head , if it was the sound then was it not possible to turn the volume down on the machine, or turn the threshold down , i am thinking of getting a pair for my ctx 3030 , thay are almost 200 pounds new in uk ,
I did not use this for 4 years and I am using it now because my old one needs another repair. At first I don't like the sound because I was used to the stock one but now I am used to it. No way to turn down the volume because this type has no volume control. I think this type uses a small piezo speaker so the sound is high pitch. My stock headphones uses the big piezo 50mm so the sound is more bass. If you want to buy you better get the one with volume control or better have it sound check before buying

Oh, sorry for not showing. Just remove the screws I think there are 4 then you can open it safely

I stopped detecting when local authorities always bothered me while hunting even at night. Now that dozens of locals have detectors, they don’t mind anymore so I now have the reason to go back but still prefer to hunt at night away from crowd.

Oh you’re just advance 2 hours mate. It’s 1 am here now. Yeah it was indeed my shortest and sweetest hunt ever. If I have an extra battery I am still hunting now but have a good rest for me while battery is charging. Tomorrow is another day. Have a good day ahead and hope you find more gold on your next hunt

@@idig4udetecting73 that coin is still in circulation together with new generation coins. That is made of steel plated with nickel. What detector you are using and where are you right now?
@@MetalDetectingBenj hey benj thanks for info here in Australia Melbourne sth/east beaches, I have excal11 same as you but then bought Nokta Legend love it been using Legend since I got it to learn everything will still use excal ,I haven’t seen video from you for awhile I just got GoPro 10 for my 58 birthday will have to load some videos to my Chanel now I’m not tech genius but will work out how 👌🎉

Kimda dont want to remove details of the coins seems the rock tumbler would totally wear on those coins. How about a peroxide in ultra sonic cleaner
No easier way to clean these tarnished coins. I even need to hammer some encrusted coins to remove the rust. The purpose is just to be acceptable for daily use. Stores and banks don’t accept these dirty coins in my place

Hi sorry for the late reply. You can search on your online store just type “50mm guitar pick up transducer”.
Needs 3 hours always to clean it with this machine. Just put sand and liquid for washing plates. But personally for modern coins I use descaler(chemical)

If a coin has been in the ground or sand for a long time does this work?
Lots of coin rings there Benj, I usually use coarser sand. I hope you get to find many pieces of eight and gold Johanna's. Wally.
Benj, are you still metal detecting? I know the rules have changed there, especially since I was there last. Then again, you could be like me making video's and video's but not uploading for the time being.

I love hearing your rooster in the wrap up! I had chickens & 1 rooster for many years. They’ve been gone many years now. I still love those birds. Pets with benefits! They give eggs! The rooster gave love. He would sit on my lap. 😎 Love the video, loved the rings!!

i have a question i heard somewhere using the metal detector in rainy weather causes a lightning strike upon you is that true ?
I did not experience yet 😂🤣🤪. Just kidding mate. Seriously whatever you are doing if the lightning strikes at the place and you happened to be there you will surely be affected. Just like for example the news I heard couple of years ago that group of people where hit by the lightning on the beach. Therefore, to keep safe just go home if the weather is bad especially with lightning.
My headphones garret sea Hunter Mark II get wet and stop workin but im waiting for a New ones they on the way but i order the same one garret sea Hunter Mark II 😁hope last longer then the stock ones... Lol
You can replace the headphone speakers if that’s the only damage. I have a video here on how to change the speaker using a guitar pick up

Nice rings Benj! I had some luck a week ago. Found six rings, two of them 14k and a 22k pendant. Total 6g for all three pieces.
